Wow Flowers

Teri's card Good morning!

I'm so excited about the new Catalogs arriving that I almost forgot to post my project.

My card today is from Teri & I was thrilled to receive it!  I haven't made a card like this but I'm sure I will now.  Thanks Teri!!Teri

She used the Good Morning Sunshine Designer Paper with the Wow Flowers stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by!

p.s.  I'm getting ready for Card Class tomorrow and shipping the catalogs.  I went to Staples yesterday and bought the Notepads to make the Grocery List Video Tutorial.  And yes, the ladies were right, Staples will cut them for you.  But not while you wait.  I had to leave them and will go back today to pick them up.

Razzle Dazzle

Razzle Dazzle

My card today uses some new product that will be available July 1st.  The Razzle Dazzle stamp set is one of the sets that will be available to purchase and the Kind & Caring Thoughts stamp set is a Level three hostess set.

The Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Paper matches the Razzle Dazzle stamp set, but the Bella Rose Designer Paper is retiring and I thought I would use it a few more times before it's gone. I think it looks good together, don't you?

Just a reminder that as a demonstrator we're allowed to pre-order some new stamp sets, as well as two new hostess sets.  If you're familiar with our hostess benefits, you know this is our only chance to purchase them.  After June 30th, the only way to get a hostess set is to earn it.  If you're thinking of becoming a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, let me know and I'd be happy to go over all the wonderful benefits.

Have a great day!!

p.s. For the ladies that know me really well, I know you're scratching your head …  I confess,  I ordered The More the Merrier stamp set.  One of my downline girls ordered two different sets so I could play with four instead of two.

Boatloads of Love

Boatloads of Love

Good afternoon!

My card today uses the Boatloads of Love stamp set and it's retiring on June 30th.  I love this set and although it's retiring from the Idea Book & Catalog, mine will stay on the shelf.

My favorite stamps are images that I can color with an Aqua Painter or a Blender Pen and the boat always looks so good, whatever color you choose!  I used Kiwi Kiss and Baja Breeze ink & cardstock and I love how the "I'm pulling for you" fit in the Scallop Square.

Thanks for stopping by!!

p.s. I have some wonderful news!!  If you're like me & allergic to milk (not lactose intolerant, but allergic). I found a milk that I can use without any side effects.  It's Almond Milk. Several people told me about it and I couldn't find it, until I was told it could be found on the baking isle at the store.  Right next to the Rice milk and Soy milk.  It's gluten free, dairy free and lactose free. I've had cereal for two days straight and it was wonderful!!  And for the best news of all, it taste good. Dave looked at it and said yuk, but seriously, it was really good!  Now I'm thinking….. we need sour cream, cottage cheese, ice cream & cheese made with almond milk!

Lovely Labels Thank you

Lovely Labels

Hi,  my cards today uses one of my favorite sets & it's retiring!!   It's the Lovely Labels stamp set (on page 141) and I've used it a ton over the past couple years.  It's one of those sets that can produce a quick card and you're happy with the results. (It was also the set I used on one of my earlier videos, back when I made Card of the Week videos.)

All six of the colors are retiring June 30th and they're currently while supplies last.  Here's the list of the retiring colors:  Pink Pirouette, Kiwi Kiss, Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze, Pacific Point & Tangerine Tango.  (Yes, I will miss these colors dearly and not sure how I can make it without the Pink.  But every year I say that about one of the colors, last year it was Soft Sky or was it River Rock.)

I made this set of cards for a gift and I'll package them with the envelopes in one of our Large Cello Bags (I love those clear bags and they are so affordable).

Thanks for stopping by!!

p.s. I worked on Punch Pages all day…making progress but wow it takes some time to make them critters 🙂

p.s. We are getting closer & closer to July 1st. Don't forget to pre-order your copy of the New Idea Book & Catalog.   Click here to head over to my Chic n Scratch Shack to pre-order a copy.

Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set

Animal Stories 3

Good Morning!

My card today is using all new Stampin' Up! product that will be available July 1st.  The "hello baby" is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set and the giraffe is from the Animal Stories stamp set.

I stamped the Giraffe in Crushed Curry Ink and the ribbon is the Crushed Curry Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon.

And last but not least….. the new punch!  It's the Modern Label Punch and it matches the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set perfectly!!

Have a great day!!

p.s. Thanks again for all your comments yesterday. Based on all the info you provided we discovered it's an Internet Explorer issue. I'll keep trying to figure out how to fix it.  Once you get it working…don't forget to bookmark https://mychicnscratch.com.

Animal Stories

Animal Stories 1

Good morning!  Today's card is using all new product. I just couldn't resist making a few quick cards.  I'll share another card tomorrow and then I'll get back to showing you some more retiring items ( Last Chance List ) so you don't miss out on getting them before their gone.

Now for the details on today's card.  I used the Animal Stories stamp set along with the Teeny Tiny Wishes.  I stamped the elephant in Melon Mambo.  The new designer paper is  Razzleberry Lemonade.  And the Ribbon you see is the pretty new Melon Mambo Polka Dot but I turned it over and used the other side.  Don't you love it when Ribbon is two sided? Stampin' Up! has the best ribbon!!

Do you know how to turn the ribbon around like that so you don't see the dots?   If not, let me know and I'll film a video.  Also don't forget to change your bookmark or favorite to www.MyChicnScratch.com.

Have a great day!

p.s.  I've heard from a few people that my site was shutting down when they tried to view it.  Please tell your friends to clear their cookies, restart their computer and try again.  If they've loaded Internet Explorer 8 tell them to email me. (word of warning….don't load 8).

Lots of Bots stamp set

Lots of Bots Good morning!

When I saw this stamp set in the Sneak Peek from Stampin' Up! I knew the Robots would match the Walk in the Park Designer Paper.  Doesn't the paper look like bolts ….or is it me?

I made this card for myself…. not really…. but I'm not feeling very good &  I decided this robot would put a smile on my face. (Heading back to the doc today, sinus infections are yucky!!!!)

The Lots of Bots stamp set will be available in the new Idea Book & Catalog starting July 1st & the designer paper is in the Occasions Mini Catalog and it will not be available after June 30th.  Be sure to order the paper if you're a fan of the robot & paper together.

Have a great day!!

Happy Bird day

Good morning!   I'm in a hurry this morning but I'll post again this evening.  My first picture is of a card I made super fast. I love the striped ribbon and although it's not available in the ribbon section of our catalog you can find it with the Simply Sent Card Elements on page 169.   I used the Pun Fun stamp set and colored the bird with my aqua painter and reinkers. I used Close to Cocoa and Riding Hood Red

Speaking of Riding Hood Red….we are getting closer & closer to the end of our 2008-2009 In-Colors.  They change each year.  Do you need to get the re-inkers or more ribbon?  Just a early reminder 🙂

My next picture is of some goodies Mindy sent me when I ordered her Cookbook. I love getting a new cookbook and I couldn't resist ordering one from her website and she surprised me with all these additional goodies.  Thanks Mindy!   If you'd like to check out her website, click here.

Have a great day!

Jumbled Alphabet

Jumbled-alphabet-card

Hi!

I'm working on end of the year teachers gifts and I decided to use the Rockabilly Designer Paper to make some monogram cards.  I also used the Jumbled Alphabet Stamp set that's on sale this month. But, I'm not totally sold on this card….something is off.  Does that happen to you? You take a day off from working and you lose something?  You may see the card again…..I used the Dotto Removable adhesive so I can move it around.

Sorry I was gone for a couple days.  I needed to take a break and spend some time with the family.  Over the weekend we went to Oklahoma Joes ….a BBQ place here in Kansas area and we went to see X Men.  I also got caught up on laundry & that feels great!!  I started cutting for my Card Class and I'm thrilled to be ahead instead of behind. And last but note least I read an entire book…..I finished the "Mortal Instruments" series by Cassandra Clare.

If you've won a prize during my Contest last week I've sent you an email.  Congrats to Peggy S. the winner of the 3 cards for my May Class.  Congrats to Rhonda W. the winner for the Crop a dile Post it Notes and Congrats to Kelly D.  the winner fo the Bind it all Post it notes.  Thanks for all your kind words!

Thanks for stopping by….see ya tomorrow!

Birthday cards

Birthday card Gigi

Birthday card Darlene

Marias baskets & blooms

Hi,

Today's pictures are birthday goodies I received from friends, way back in March.  I love all three and ladies I'm sorry I'm just now getting around to posting them!

Gigi sent me the card on the top…the Pun Fun stamp set will always be one of my favorites and I love birds. (I really hope the new catalog has some stamp sets similiar to Pun Fun, I love coloring!)

Darlene sent the next card & she knows I was so crazy for the Crazy for Cupcake stamp set that I centered a class around it last fall.

Last but certainly not least….the darling Basket & Blooms Felt Bag is from Maria. I love it and I can't wait to make one too! I'm still shocked that we can use felt, fabric & everything under the sun with the Big Shot 🙂

Thanks for stopping by!

p.s.  Life keeps throwing me curve balls!! I believe what doesn't kill us makes us stronger…but can I just say… I need a break?   I'll share a few details…..our washing machine broke last night and it's less than 2 years old….no warranty (after the first year) and of course my hubby is out of town (he's always out of town when we have emergencies) and I was behind on laundry. (trust me….. you don't want to know the rest of the details!)
