Razzle Dazzle one last time :)

Good morning!

My picture today is a remake of the the card I shared with you on Saturday.  Although I liked the card I posted….it was a tad too busy for me.  Here's a simpler version.

Razzle Dazzle tent topper

The next card is even easier….what I did was I made about 8 different cards, lined them up and then decided on which I like best.   I'm thrilled with the two I choose!

Razzle Dazzle Scallop

The large scallop is from the Big Shot Scallop Circles #2 die  (one of my favorites). Both cards are 4 1/4 x 4 1/4….but by adding the Scallop the top card now measures 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.

Over the weekend, I completed 180 swaps, saw two movies….The Ugly Truth and Transformers, took Brook to Borders (our favorite store) and helped Dave get ready so he could fly out this morning.

I'll be playing catch up on emails and work stuff for the next few days.

Have a great day!!

p.s. Don't forget to check back to see the final Deal of the Week.

Razzle Dazzle swap card

Razzle Dazzle card

Good evening!

This is another card I made while I was trying to design my cards for Convention.   I used the Razzle Dazzle stamp set and I colored the image with three of the new In Color markers, Rich RazzleberryCrushed Curry & Melon Mambo

The happy birthday is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set and I punched it out with the Word Window Punch and layered it on the Modern Label Punch.   Razzleberry Lemonade is the designer paper.

I can't remember the name of this card….is it a tent topper card?

Thanks for all the suggestions for videos and projects!! When I return from Convention I'm going to get busy filming those requests.  Some of your emails reminded me of why I love what I do!!

Congrats Sheri Cash you've won the 3D kit club project supplies for 3 months.  Please send me your address so I can get the first one in the mail to you this week.

Thanks for joining me!!

p.s.The beauty of having no phone, cable or internet is it allows you to spend time doing other things.   I'd like to think that God knew I needed to get busy with my swaps and he helped me along ….otherwise I'd be in the same shoes as last year and watching other ladies swap cards.   I started 100 swap cards and finished 60 of them and I designed two other styles.  I'm super excited and will show you my cards soon.

The More the Merrier

More the merrier_edited-1

Good morning!

My card today is one that I've been playing around with.  I'm trying to come up with cards to swap at Convention and I want everyone to like my cards….but….as you all know my cards tend to be on the quick & simple side. 3D projects are more my thing!!  I have a few changes to make to the card but I think I like it (click on picture to see it larger).

I used the Level two hostess set "The More the Merrier" and those snowmen are going to get a lot of use this holiday season (the whole set is just darling!!!). The sentiment is from the Sparkly & Bright stamp set and I used the new Old Olive 1 1/4 Striped Ribbon. I love that ribbon so much I could marry it….just kidding…..last week one of Chase's friends told me that he loved my Sweet Tea so much he wanted to marry it…..isn't that a hoot?

The colors I used were Old Olive & the new Soft Suede.   Remember last week when I said you would like the new colors when we start using them with other colors?  Soft Suede is perfect when you need a almost chocolate color when Chocolate Chip is too dark.   Get this…my sofa is Soft Suede (and I've had it a few years).

Have a great day!!

Angie's extra notes:   Sorry I've been a little absent lately.  My to do list is a mile long and we've had some family things this summer.  Speaking of family, my nephew was attacked by a dog over the weekend and I'm looking for a book that would be good for a 5 & 8 year old that deals with being bitten by a dog.  Do you know of one?   Chase was bitten when he was little and I think it helped to show them his scars but I want to send him & my niece a little care package.  We just happened to be in town when it happened but now we're home and can't visit them.

I've been so out of the loop I wanted to share some of what I'm doing.   I'm creating a Forum discussion website for my Team members (I'm super excited and hope it works out the way I plan).   I re-arranged my office.  I had my computer and paperwork mixed in with my craft area and I needed to separate that.  My computer in my craft space kept reminding me I had computer work… but …I'll always have computer work.  I'm going back to setting the timer and not moving until I'm done with what I started.   Lately I've found myself ping ponging around this room and finding that I'm doing too many things at once.  Are you guilty of that?   This could turn into a book so I better stop.   Thanks for stopping by!!

Vanilla Hodgepodge Hardware

The Deal of the Week is the Vanilla Hodgepodge Hardware and it’s on sale for $18.99 (a $10.96 savings).  It’s on page 178 and it’s item #112454.

I made a card to show you one of the pieces & I used it on the  Medallion Background stamp (who doesn’t love that stamp?) and I used Soft Suede ink & cardstock.   I made a slip this morning and called it True Thyme (I loved that color too).

The sentiment is from the Bella’s Bloom stamp set and it’s item #111600 & it’s on page 101.

Medallion

Local girls if you would like to add the Hardware to my club order this week, let me know and that will save you some money on shipping.

Thanks for stopping by!

Pony Party

Pony Party card

Good afternoon,

I took a few minutes yesterday to stamp and make two cards with the Pony Party stamp set.  I used the Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Paper with the Melon Mambo cardstock & ink with the Polka Dot Ribbon (I turned the ribbon over so you can't see the dots).

Here's a picture of the first card I made with the Pony Party stamp set with some Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.Simple pony party I wish you could see it in person, it's so much prettier when you hold it!!

I've received several emails asking what do I think about the new In-Colors.   I'll be honest with you…… Every year I always say to myself……I'm not sure, I don't think I like them.  But after I get my hands on them and start stamping I change my mind.  I will admit, there were a few colors I instantly feel in love with…… like the Pink Pirouette & River Rock.  But I'm pretty sure that you'll love these colors just like the others, after you've seen them used more. Plus you need to see them with the other color families and not used so much with each other.  (something i need to work on!)

Sweet Birthday

Sweet Birthday

Good morning!

My card today was made with the Sweet Birthday stamp that's on the Under $10 page.  I used two of the new colors…… Melon Mambo & Crushed Curry along with Tempting Turquoise.

I used the Stampin' Up! Backgrounds #1 Texturz plates to add the dots to the white cardstock and I colored the image with the Stampin' Write Markers.

Have a great day!!

p.s.  I'm super excited…I was able to film a video yesterday and it's loaded on You Tube.   I just need to add some notes and post it on my blog and I'll make sure it's posted by tomorrow morning.  See ya 🙂

Razzle Dazzle

Heidis swap Hi,  my card today was Heidi's Shoebox Swap &  I love the Razzle Dazzle stamp set!   It works with bright or soft colors (I posted a card a few weeks ago using softer colors).

She used Old Olive with Not Quite Navy ink & cardstock. And the Oval All Stamp set with the Large Oval Punch & the Scallop Oval Punch.

Can you see the pretty Rhinestone Brad on the flower?  I attached it using the Paper Piercer & Chic Stand

We also used the Scallop Edge Punch & it's the Deal of the Week.

Have a Happy 4th of July…..be safe!

Animal Stories Card

Julies shoebox swap My card today was Julie's Shoebox swap & it's just darling!  (But I may have done a bad job of lining up the circles, I don't stamp well when I'm away from my own stamp room.)

The Family Phrases stamp set goes perfect with the Animal Stories stamp set. And I love how she used the Texturz Plates Backgrounds  #1 for the background!

She used two of the new In-Colors, Bermuda Bay & Melon Mambo.

Have a great day!!

p.s. I'll be posting on my blog over the weekend but I'll have limited access to email. Have a Happy 4th of July!! (wish me luck…. we're going canoeing.)

Shoebox Swap Card

Davedas card

Good morning!

Today's card is one that we made at the Shoebox Swap on Saturday and this was Daveda's card.   I choose to show her card first for a couple reasons. I've already shown you all these products lately & I think I may use this format of card for my July class….we'll see…… I need to play with my stamps a bit more.

Two of the colors you see on this card will be available Wednesday afternoon (July 1st) and they are Melon Mambo and Crushed Curry.  The designer paper is Razzleberry Lemonade and she used the Flower Fancy stamp set.

I had a few girls ask what's a Shoebox Swap so I thought I would explain it.  How you prepare is almost like a class.  You decide your project and then you cut for everyone and bag the supplies for each person.  You bring all your supplies & instructions and everyone goes from station to station making each project. It's a lot of fun, especially because I get to stamp instead of teach (sitting down and stamping really is therapy).

Thanks for stopping by!!

p.s. Yesterday we put the Wii Fit in my office & Chase, Brooke & I played it all afternoon and last night, we had a blast and laughed so hard.  I can't believe we didn't buy it sooner.  Dave walked downstairs when I was attempting the hola hoop, I think it scared him!  I could really get hooked on this game…..if I could get all these teens outta here!! (Chase has two of his friends are here now ….in my office.)

Think Happy Thoughts

Angelas card Good evening!

My card today reminded me that after June 30th Pink Pirouette will be retired and we'll go back to using Pretty in Pink ( I'll never part with Pink Pirouette).

Thanks for the card Angela!!  If you're wondering what happened to your writing, I took another piece of pink cardstock & covered it up using some removable adhesive (I always find ways to alter things).

She used the Think Happy Thoughts stamp set and that's been one of my favorites for a while.

Thanks for stopping by!!

p.s.  I've been really busy with Card Class, shipping catalogs & the card kits and I went to a shoe box swap today.  Tomorrow & Monday I'm working on catching up!
