Boatloads of Love

Boatloads of Love

Good afternoon!

My card today uses the Boatloads of Love stamp set and it's retiring on June 30th.  I love this set and although it's retiring from the Idea Book & Catalog, mine will stay on the shelf.

My favorite stamps are images that I can color with an Aqua Painter or a Blender Pen and the boat always looks so good, whatever color you choose!  I used Kiwi Kiss and Baja Breeze ink & cardstock and I love how the "I'm pulling for you" fit in the Scallop Square.

Thanks for stopping by!!

p.s. I have some wonderful news!!  If you're like me & allergic to milk (not lactose intolerant, but allergic). I found a milk that I can use without any side effects.  It's Almond Milk. Several people told me about it and I couldn't find it, until I was told it could be found on the baking isle at the store.  Right next to the Rice milk and Soy milk.  It's gluten free, dairy free and lactose free. I've had cereal for two days straight and it was wonderful!!  And for the best news of all, it taste good. Dave looked at it and said yuk, but seriously, it was really good!  Now I'm thinking….. we need sour cream, cottage cheese, ice cream & cheese made with almond milk!

  1. I eat Purely Decadent ice cream, which is coconut milk based. It is dairy and soy free and it is AWESOME.

For sour cream, cream cheese, etc. I use all the Tofutti products.

  2. Almond Milk Smoothies ROCK!!!

1 cup Almond Milk (we use Almond Breeze)
    1 tsp Almond Butter
    1 Frozen Banana
    handful of your favourite berries

Blitz in the blender and enjoy! You can even thrown in a bunch of spinach to make it super packed with goodness (and you can’t taste it!)

  3. Glad to hear you found almond milk. We are always searching for new delicious products to eat since Hayden has to eat gluten free. I’m so happy to be able to check your blog again!!!! Internet Explorer was really screwing things up! ;P

  4. Have you tried the vanilla rice milk? It’s way better than the original and it tastes great in cereal too. We are gfcfsf. Almond milk is pretty yummy too – loved it! Rice dream makes an ice cream and there are also a couple of other brands of ice cream made with coconut milk that my son loves! We usually find them at Whole Foods or Earth Fare or other larger organic/health food stores.
