Scallop Valentine Box
We learned how to make this Scallop Valentine Box at Leadership…. and the one they shared with us had some cute little cards … so I made one to hold candy and one to hold cards.

Scallop Valentines

The scallop box is made out of the Scallop Square Die and you score it at 3 scallops on two sides and score it at 2 scallops on the other side.

I used the P.S. I love you stamp set with Real Red and Early Espresso ink. And the punches I used include:  1″ Circle, 1-3/8 Circle, Small Heart and the 1-3/4 Scallop Circle.

The little Valentine Cards measure 4-1/2 x 2-1/4, scored at 2-1/4 and on March 1st you’ll be able to order the Simply Scored Diagonal Plate (#125586 $11.95) …  it allows you to score at a diagonal to create envelopes, boxes and more!!  You’re going to love it!! 

Here’s the box they demonstrated at Leadership …..using the Sprinkle Expressions Stamp set from the Sale-a-bration Catalog.

Stampin Up Leadership

I'm checking in this evening to say hello and share a couple pictures ….I'm having a great time at our Stampin Up Leadership conference and I thought you'd like to see a few things.

The first picture is our Leadership Bag …I LOVE IT!!  I'm thinking it has to be new fabric coming in a future Stampin' Up! Catalog ..and it has a matching stamp set that we received at the Managers Reception.

This picture is one of my favorite displays … I love that little tree …..it would look really good in my office!!

Leadership Display 2This next picture is another display …and I just love it!!  One of my downline girls just gave birth to a baby boy ….Congrats Sarah!!!

Sweet Pea Make n Take Helper

Isn't this the cutest thing ever?  I love it so much I hid it and then it took me a week to find it :)  (do you ever do that?)

I was a Make n Take helper at Leadership and I had a blast!!  Donna made us these darling things to wear and after the first day I stopped wearing mine because I was afraid I would lose it.

  • The alphabet used was one they use in office for signs…but you could use the Naturally Serif #113453

The colors go really well with my Bella Rose Apron & if you attend one of my classes or clubs you'll be seeing me wear this.

Home at last :)

I took over a thousand photos while I was in Phoenix.
The Stampin' Up! Leadership meeting & the Regional meeting was the best ever!!
I learned so much and have a thousand pictures to show you!

But, you know I'm home now and behind about a week.

  I rarely show myself and I'm trying to do a better job of that. (Another one of my goals for 2010.)

As most of you know I've gotten the quilting bug bad!!!
I'm totally obsessed!!
While we were at Leadership, Jill (the lady that taught me how to make the Quilted flowers) won the Bright Idea Award.
I'm so happy she was chosen!!
I've told her several times that I will always remember that she brought quilting into my life just when I needed it most and I'll be forever grateful.  

Tomorrow I'll start posting some of the awesome projects using supplies from the Occasions Mini Catalog & the Sale-a-bration catalog.

Good morning!

I have one more day in Phoenix and I need to make this fast…heading out to the Stampin' Up! Regional meeting.

I had to post these darling projects today.  It occurred to me that after Patty's wonderful presentation these goodies just might sell out before I have a chance to show them to you.  All three pictures are Patty's displays from Leadership and I'm totally impressed!!

Stampin’ Up! Leadership

Hello Stampin' friends and downline girls!

I've registered for the Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference and below is my schedule.   On top of planning a move & the holidays I'm also planning on attending Leadership.  Things could change but I need to continue just like normal and if it doesn't work out then I'll deal with it when it happens :)

p.s.s. Update on the Rag Quilt Purse instructions….I typed half of the instructions yesterday and I'm working on it as fast as I can. Honestly it's a lot of steps & I'm struggling with getting it perfect.  (If I mess up……. your purse will not look right…..dealing with fabric can be a tad more expensive than cutting a piece of cardstock the wrong size.)
