2009 Spring & Summer Idea Book & Catalog

Hi,  I'm super excited about the new catalog and decided to stay up late so I could show you some fun projects.  But, before I show the pictures, please make sure you read the post below.  It has all the details on ordering from the new catalog (on line orders are unavailable from now until noon on Monday, Mountain Time….my Stampin' Up! website will also be down until noon).

The first picture is of the Good Friend Stationery Box we made at Leadership….I love those birds… both the stamp set and the Chipboard!!  It's the Good Friend stamp set and the Chipboard is So Tweet. (cute name too!)

Good Friend Stationery Box

Good Friends Box side view

Next is the card that we made to go in the box…..again I totally love it…but maybe it's just me & birds :)  Wait until you see the owl 🙂

Good Friend Card

I'll be honest, I've not had the best relationship with the Stamp-a-ma-jig.  But… it works great with this stamp set.  If you're like me….I've had a hard time remembering how to use it.  But, this stamp set is perfect for the Stamp-a-ma-jig and now that I've got it….I won't be forgetting how to use it!!

I'm so excited I need to do a video….but I need to come up with my own card first.

Moving right along….after I assembled my Good Friend Stationery BoxI decided to tweak the measurements and find a way to make the box using one sheet of 12 x 12 cardstock.  I made one using solid cardstock and one using Designer paper (I'll show you the designer paper one later this week).  I also made it a little thicker so I could add some candy 🙂

Owl Stationery Box   Sorry, my picture doesn't do it justice…by the time I was finished it was dark outside & I need to take another picture to show you the side view…I'll do that later today.

And, I forgot to show you the candy inside. I usedmy favorite "Ferrero Rocher".  This will make you laugh….that's my favorite chocolate candy…but I'm clueless on how to say the name :)))

I'm working on the video and will post it tomorrow (Tuesday)…..if all goes well. I have to take Chase to the doctor and have some tests run….he has an ankle that keeps hurting him, we thought it was growing pains (the doctor agreed) but now it's getting worse and waking him up at night.  I'm a little freaked out!!

Thanks for stopping by….have a great day!!

Fun Photos from Leadership

Good morning!!

Today I'm going to share with you a few of the fun photos we took in Orlando during the Stampin' Up! Leadership.  I always come home wishing I had taken more photos …….but….. for me it's hard to stop what I'm doing & get the camera out (plus…my photos are not that great).

So, let's get started… Photo number one is of Samantha and myself ….for the Stampin' Up! demos, she's my SAM (Service Account Manger) and her name is Sam…don't you love it?  She is so kind and has helped me so much, I love her! For my customers …..that are not familiar with the SAM program, if we earn cruise or when your title reaches a certain level or if you're in the Top 100 Demos, you get a SAM (it's kinda hard to explain). So, here we are…..

Sam & Angie

The next picture you'll get a kick out of …..several Stampin' Up! demos went to see the Twilight movie on Friday night…that was sooo much fun!!  It was like being a teenager going to the theater with so many girls! (That made my 5th time to see it but it was Glenda's 28th time….shock!!)  Here we are….

Twilight demos

The next picture is of one of the signs at the Managers Reception, I couldn't resist taking it (I should  have taken a picture of the food, but I was too busy eating it).

Super Hero The next picture is of Shelly and I at the Managers Reception. (Shelly I'm thankful I got to experience my 1st Managers Reception with you …even though you tried to kill me on that HULK ride…just kidding.)Shelly & I

Moving right along….the next picture is of me being silly…while we were at the movie theater waiting we decided to take some silly pictures…..

Friday 13th

The next picture is really funny….me on the red carpet…I couldn't resist :)  sorry the photos are kinda blurry…note to self next year …take good camera to Managers Reception. (I was afraid to take my good camera to Universal Studios….you know with the rides and all.)

Red Carpet

I'm hoping that a few friends forward me some non blurry pictures (hint hint)….I really need to take a photography class!!

Tomorrow I'll resume my regular daily posts….Have a great day!!

Safely in Orlando :)

Just a quick note…we made it safely to Orlando and attended our Shoe box Swap.  That was a lot of fun and I can't wait to show you the darling cards we made.  Doing organized swaps is a Good Thing ….you'll see why I'm saying that very soon 🙂

Post it swap

My project I'm posting is one of my swaps that I brought for a few friends.  It's the Bind it All post it Notes and I have a tutorial on my Stampin' Academy…..don't forget you can type what you're looking for in my Google Search box and it will take you right to it….even I use it 🙂

For my project I used the Candy Lane Designer Paper that also comes in the Love you much bundle…isn't it cute?

Gotta run…need sleep!!

Goodnight 🙂

Goody Goody Gumdrops

Leadership swap

  Good morning!!

Today's picture is of some swaps I'm taking to Leadership….that is if the Sweet Always Designer Paper doesn't retire.  Today (Monday) at noon (mountain time) we get the accessories retiring list. (I have a back up plan if it does.)

Visit my Stampin' Up! website to view that list or to place an order.  Please remember, the retired accessories is "while supplies last "and some items go fast.  If you try to order from me…by the time I get your payment and get the order placed it could be sold out (especially because I'm traveling to Orlando).

Now for the details of my card…..did you notice the new stamp set? Do you love it? I do!!  That's the Goody-Goody Gumdrops stamp set and it's a level three Hostess set in the Spring & Summer Idea Book & Catalog. You have two ways to get it….Hold a $500 workshop from Jan. 19th – July ?? 2009….. or sign up to be a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and pre-order it.  I've had a few ladies ask me about becoming a demonstrator and the biggest question right now is do we wait until Feb. 1st to join or join now.  Everyone has to do what they are comfortable doing….but….if you join before Jan. 19th, you can pre-order a level two & a level three stamp set.  The flip side is if you wait until Feb. 1st, you get to pick an additional free stamp set from the catalog.  Personally I'd want the Goody-Goody Gumdrops but I see both sides 🙂

If you've emailed me about becoming a demonstrator in the past week, send me an email and I'll give you my cell phone number so you can reach me this week….just in case you have questions.

Thanks for visiting my blog…….have a great day!!
