Sick Day

Just a quick note …… I'm not going to be able to post a project today.  I'm not feeling well. I've got a major headache and I had a tooth pulled yesterday. The pain pills help with my mouth….but not my headache.

Have a good day!!

p.s. if I all of a sudden start to feel better I may check emails.

p.s.s. you may see me posting on facebook today….I'm bored …in bed with a headache and playing with my phone 🙂 can't read a book when my head hurts this bad.

Petal Cone Ice Cream Card

Petal Cone card
Can you believe this card was made with the Petal Cone die?   When Jill gave it to me at Leadership all I could say was WOW!!  I seriously love it!!

She used the Square Lattice Embossing Folder for the texture and the "happy birthday" is in the Curly Cue stamp set.  The cherry on top is the Glimmer Paper in the Occasions Mini Catalog.

Here's a look at the inside.

Inside petal cone card When I first got the Petal Cone die I was thinking I'd make something with a heart (there's a heart in there).   But an ice cream cone….not my idea but I sure love it!!

Over the weekend I'm going to film a video on how to make the Petal Cone Ice Cream Card.

Petal Cone with Eat Chocolate

Petal Cone Box
Isn't this box darling?   It was made using the Petal Cone die from the Occasions Mini Catalog

I've heard from a few of you asking if I like the Petal cone die….the answer is YES!  And…..after I show you all the projects you can make with it…you'll see why.

The box was cut out with the Petal cone die with the Crease pad, the cutting pad seems a bit harsh and cuts through the scrore lines (but all Big Shots are different and yours may be able to handle the cutting pad).

The colors are Soft Suede, Blushing Bride and Very Vanilla ….along with the Eat Chocolate stamp set.

I'm filming the video today….and if all goes well I should be able to share it tomorrow.  Click here if you'd like to watch the video on how to make the Petal Cone Box.

Thanks & Have a great day!!

Free Purse??

Sale-a-bration purse Updated April 13th,2011 ….Congrats Mary B!! Your name was drawn to win!! I really hope you enjoy it 🙂

How would you like to win this purse?

Starting today through March 31st you'll have the opportunity to win this purse.

Here's the ways you can enter to win:

  • One entry per $50 order (before tax & s/h).  You can place the orders online on my Stampin Up website or with me.  Click here to place an order on my website.
  • Five entries if you join my team and become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.

I'll draw the winner on April 5th and whoever wins it….will also have the privilege of naming it.  How cool is that?  (You're not required to name it ….if you decide to pass on that I'll be happy to do it.)

Here's a few more details on the purse ….I made it back during the holidays …just on a whim. It's the first time I've added pockets …. I'm super excited that I was able to master that!

I'm not totally sure how I made the purse…I just starting cutting and the next thing I know I have a purse.  I will try to recreate it so that I can film a video 🙂

Handbag

Are you asking yourself why & how could I give it away?  The honest truth is…. giving this purse to someone will bring me more joy than keeping it myself.  I'd use it for a while and then move on to something else.  But whoever wins it will more than likely be thrilled beyond words and cherish it forever.

I keep telling everyone to use the Quilts & purses I make them…but I know they have putting them up for safe keeping (much like how I was saving my necklace from Founders Circle…by the way I'm wearing it today).  So, I hope whoever wins it will use it but if not I totally get it 🙂

Good luck & Thanks for choosing me to be your Stampin' Up! Demonstrator!!

Back to work :)

It feels great to be home and back in my office…even though it looks like a tornado went through!!

Honestly ….three trips in less than a month :O  If I think about it too much I'll get stressed out ….. so we're going to pretend I'm not behind.

I do need your help….if you sent me an email in the past month or so and I failed to answer you…..can you please resend it?  I've worked on emails all day and it's not making a dent.  I've tried to go through and pick out the subject lines but I think it may be easier to just ask.

Thanks for being so patient with me during the holidays and the New year.  Good news ….. I don't have travel plans again until March.  Yippie!!!

See you tomorrow (Monday)!
