Bugs & Kisses Envelope Treat Bag

After I made one I couldn't stop myself ….. and I decided to make a kid friendly treat bag.  The Bugs & Kisses stamp set was perfect …especially if you added some sour gummy worms inside.

I embossed the Medium White envelope with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder.  And the I used the Peach Parfait Poly Stitched Ribbon for the handle and to close the bottom.

The greeting was stamped with Black Stazon ink and cut out with the 1-3/4 Circle Punch and I attached it to the 2-3/8 Scallop Circle Punch.

I'll try to have the video ready just as soon as I see a clear winner between the Bugs & Kisses Envelope Treat Bag or the Clearly for You Envelope Bag.

Are you having trouble printing the pdf instructions?

I'm providing instructions in a pdf format for all my video tutorial projects and I've heard from a some of you that you are having trouble opening them.

Here's some things to try:

  • Use Firefox as your Browser … Internet Explorer (whatever version) has conflicts & compatibility issues.  Firefox is free and will not hurt your computer and you will love it!!  It's works on a Mac and a PC.
  • Clear your cookies also known as your temporary internet files. And then restart your computer.  This is very important to do …especially if you look at a lot of stuff online.  Let me explain why….. everything you look at online is stored on your computer until you delete it…  if you watch a lot of videos or search the web that means your cache could be full.  I know some of you don't want to delete your cookies because it keeps your passwords for you …but please "just do it".  Storing those cookies are not good for your computer!!
  • You could also try another computer in the house.

If you try all these steps and it still doesn't work let me know ……but ….almost everyone I've told to do these steps has had success.

If you emailed me this past week regarding this issue …we were on Spring Break and I'll be back in my office tomorrow (Monday).

Clearly For you Envelope Bag

Clearly for you envelopeI made this little bag using one of our Medium White envelopes…and I used the Cleary For you stamp set.

I embossed the envelope with the Vintage Wallpaper embossing Folder and I used the Baja Breeze Seam Binding for the handle.

Videos are missing in the email feed

A quick note ….if you subscribe to my Chic n Scratch Live! blog….you've probably noticed the video screen is black.  It's an issue with the feed service called Feed Burner.  I've checked everything and I can't find where it can be fixed.  But I'm not giving up.

This site "Chic n Scratch Live!"  will always have a video attached when I post.  So if you receive an email/ feed in your email box….I've posted a video.  I think this may be the only post that doesn't have a video over here.

To clear up any confusion….I've changed the setting that shows you a tease of the post …and then it will say click here to read more.  (or something like that)

I'll keep working on it and try to get it fixed …I know everyones time is precious and I love the ease of having my blog posts emailed to you!!

Nicest things I'm hooked on making these cards using the Scallop Square Die!!

This card is almost exactly like my earlier version (click here to view it) ….the only difference is I used The Nicest Things stamp set.  The paper is the same …. Greenhouse Gala Designer Paper.

I thought about using a Good Egg stamp set but I had a couple requests to show the bunny again from The Nicest Things stamp set.   Isn't he cute?

My post is going to be late today :)  bummer! 

The past few days I've been sick :(  On Monday I was so tired even my legs hurt … and then that evening it hit me.  So …. the past three days I've worked very little.  I feel better….but energy level is not up to par.

I'm working on a few things right now ….please check back this afternoon.

I'm going to share a project….. throw in a Q&A live stream this evening (the live stream will show up right on my blog…don't let it scare you) and I'll announce the blog candy winner.

Greenhouse Gala Bag

Greenhouse Gala tote2 My project today is the Greenhouse Gala Bag and it measures 5-1/2 x 6-1/4. I love all the Stampin' Up! colors used in the Greenhouse Gala Designer Paper!!

I used Medium weight coasters with the Scallop Circles #2 die for the scallop circle and the letter B is from the Serif Essentials Alphabet.  I used the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder to add some texture to the letter B.

The Jumbo eyelets were perfect for the handle and I was torn between using the Pear Pizzazz Ribbon or the Early Espresso ….so….I used both.

Greenhouse Gala Scallop Square Card

Scallop Square Card
This was my card for the Shoebox swap on Friday…..we had a great time and all the cards were awesome!!

The base of this card was made using the Scallop Square Die. I used Certainly Celery with Baja Breeze & Greenhouse Gala DSP.

I colored the Punch Bunch stamp set image with Baja Breeze ink and then colored the "for you" with the Espresso Marker.  I cut it out with the 1-3/8 Circle Punch and added to the 1-3/4 Scallop Circle with a Stampin Dimensional.
