Let's have some fun with the brand new Stampin' Up! Catalog!!  If you're a customer of mine …..  send me an email to angie@mychicnscratch.com and let me know what new stamp set you think is my most favorite.  I have several this year!!! But only one is my most favorite.  Please read the following rules before sending an email.)

  • One entry per person ….if you list more than one ….the stamp set listed first on your list is your entry.

    2011 2012 Idea Book & Catalog

    Starting tomorrow the 2011 2012 Idea Book & Catalog will go live!!  But please remember ….it goes live at Noon Mountain Time ….that's 1pm Chic n Scratch time (Central time).

    As soon as I get back from my doctors appointment I'll add the links and buttons. And if all goes well I'll stream live on UStream late tomorrow afternoon.  I'm sorry but I can't say 100% if I can do it…. I have a mass on my thyroid and I'm not sure what the doctors are going to do…if it's just a simple appointment ..meaning no needles or knifes I'll rush home and post the details of the live stream.

    In the meantime please remember you have until 11:50pm to order the Retiring items.

    Happiest Birthday Wishes

    My card today is using some of the new product in the 2011 2012 Idea Book & Catalog.

    We were able to order the new In-Colors and a few stamps and this was the first card I made.  ….Everything is new …except the Whisper White card stock :)  My warm up card is always white and a very simple card.  And I choose to use Wisteria Wonder for all my friends that love purple ….but you know me …. greens are my favorite and Lucky Limeaid is my favorite of the new colors …next to Pool Party 🙂

    I used the Lace Ribbon Punch with Wisteria Wonder card stock.  I stamped the images from the Happiest Birthday Wishes stamp set and I used the Scallop Circle Punch with the 1-3/8 Circle Punch.

    Speaking of the Idea Book & Catalog, as soon as we’re allowed to pre-sell them I’ll post the information.  In the meantime, feel free to send me an email requesting a copy.  Please use angie@mychicnscratch.com.  (If you’ve spent $100 with me in the last 12 months …you qualify for a free copy….please include your mailing address in your email so I can prepare everything in advance….we have July 4th holiday and I leave for Convention on July 12th).

    I have to say I LOVE THE NEW IDEA BOOK & CATALOG.  I’m a HUGE FAN of stamp sets you can color (not a lot of coloring but some) and let’s just there are a few that brought tears to my eyes….Seriously!!  I think I was just so happy to see some sets that spoke to me personally. (Does that sound crazy?)

    I’ve created some cute stuff with the new product …but I’m saving it for July.  Since I can’t post the product in a video I’m going to wait so I can post the project and video on the same day.  I think it will be worth the wait.

    Tune in tomorrow for all the details on my Drag Around Rag Quilt Class.  The site is ready, the videos are posted, the instructions are typed ….. I just need to finish the announcement and double check to make sure the links are working properly.

    Starting at 1pm Central time you can start placing your orders.  But my advice would be to wait just a little while so that all the bugs have been worked out.

    The brand new Stampin' Up! catalog has arrived!!

    10pm update:  I'm short several boxes of catalogs :(  I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to do.  I should have counted them before I created my blog post.  You  might want to call me if you're planning on coming by. I'm really sorry!! 

    Tomorrow (Saturday, June 26th) you can pick up your catalog from 12-4pm.   If you're a club member you get one free.  Club members will also get to choose one free stamp set from my stash of retired items.

    If you're not a club member and want to buy a catalog, they are $5.   I'll have sign up sheets here if you'd like to join club.  When you join club …you will also get a free catalog & a free stamp set.  The catalog will go home with you tomorrow   (see note above) and the stamp set will have your name on it to pick up at your first club meeting.  I'll have all the details on how to join club available tomorrow.

    Important info:   The Retired items I'm selling tomorrow are not items that are currently on the retired list.  Those items can not be sold until after July 1st and if you're interested in those items I'll be having a real Open House after Convention.  Tomorrow is really just a drop in kind of thing!!  Ladies if you've been to my Open House before….this is not what I'm having…those are nice & organized & I have everything pretty…see photo gallery for a look at one of those.  This is called quick & dirty 🙂 and getting it done (I could hear Larry the Cable guy say Git r done in my head just now).

    If you rsvp by midnight tonight that you're attending, I will have a little goodie for you.

    For those of you that ordered a catalog or for my customers that ask for one….. I'm packing them now (Brooke is adding labels as I type) and I will ship them tonight.

    New catalogs on Saturday

    Good morning!

    UPS tracking shows the 2010/2011 Stampin Up! Idea Book & Catalogs will be delivered to my house on Friday.  But…I'm not sure what time they'll be here.

    So, come by Saturday between 12 – 4pm and I will have the catalogs ready as well as a whole bunch of retired stuff.  Stamp sets, ribbon, designer paper, card fronts….etc. 

    A little warning …in the past when I've done this I've had my whole main level set up for an open house format….this time ….not so organized.  We are almost done with Dave's office upstairs…..currently all his office furniture is in the middle of our dining room….it makes it a tad difficult to set up but you know me I'll make it work!

    Here's a look at the progress of Dave's office (we need to finish the paint on one wall, add the trim…then move the furniture in).
