Update & Swap Cards

Thanks for all the well wishes the past few days!! I'm happy to report I'm feeling much better.

My blog posts are usually directed towards my dear customers …but today I'm speaking to Stampin Up Demonstrators or if one of my customers wants to participate you're welcome to … except you need to know that it's a card front only and the recipe is attached to the back of the card. As demonstrators we put them on our display boards for our stamping events.

Last week when I was at Convention … I did more talking than swapping :) That means I have 40 card fronts left over.

2pm Update: only 17 spots available for the card swap.

If you want to swap with me … mail me one of your card fronts and I'll send you one of mine. But …this is important. I can only swap 40 …so if you plan on sending a card front please post a comment on this post and when or if it reaches 40 I'll close the comments. I'm still needing to do a test run on You Tube ..but I'm afraid to post when because the only solid food I've had is crackers .. give me another day and I'll let you guys know when.

Live stream rescheduled

I’m really sorry I couldn’t make it to the live stream yesterday!!

I had a stomach ache when I got home Sunday but I thought it would pass.
No sooner than I posted that I was going to do the live steam I started throwing up.
My stomach pain was so severe I had to get Brooke to take me to the er.

By the time I saw the doctor I was dehydrated …that made it difficult for them to start my Iv and draw blood.

So …long story short ….I’m home …but I’m not feeling very good. I’m going to take my meds and go back to sleep.

p.s. we’re not sure if it’s a stomach bug or my gall bladder …I’m going to see my regular doctor for further testing.

Fabric Flowers using Sticky Rounds

My first blog post after our Stampin Up Convention is about Fabric Flowers. I LOVE learning new things and at Convention we learned a lot!!!

Before today I had not used the Sticky Rounds #127852 (they'll be available August 1st with the new Holiday Mini Catalog) … but after learning how to do it right … I couldn't wait to get home and try it.

The picture above is from Convention … I'll show you mine before August 1st.

If you're a fan of my live streams on UStream you'll be happy to hear this news I posted on Facebook on Friday.

So ….it's no secret I didn't get much sleep last night ….. I was tossing and turning trying to come up with how can I say "THANKS" and I came up with something. I'm very excited about!

I'm going to continue my LIVE streams on UStream and I'll pay their outrageous price for the next 12 months.

When I get home I'll get started right away!

Since that post on Friday I've learned that I have access to stream live with You Tube …. but … I need to be able to use my camera verses my webcam. So, that means I need help with the set up.

If you want to participate (no stamping involved ..just getting the camera settings perfected) I'll be streaming on You Tube today at 4pm Central time. The connection may come and go as I figure everything out. Patience will be required 🙂

Thank you and Awards night

I’m going to try to keep this short and sweet and start off by saying
THANK YOU!!!

This post is for my amazing customers … But beware …it’s like 1:40am my time …I should go to bed (I will after this post).

Words can not express how thankful I am!!!!

Last year was awful and I spent more days in bed than not and I was afraid that I would lose my business….instead you supported me and stuck by my side and I was awarded number 1 in Sales tonight.

I’m still amazed!!

Im kinda rambling and my words are not the best …but before I go to bed I just wanted you to know that I will do my best to make you proud this year!!!

I appreciate you and I thank you ….

and ….my brain is thinking “how can I show them how thankful I am?”. Maybe some ideas will come to me!

Convention Swap Card

This is a picture of all the colors of my Convention Swap Card. I needed to make 86 cards and we get 2 sheets each of the polka dots in each color …. in the Designer Series Paper Stacks. I used 5 colors and between the In Color and the Brights it was very easy to accomplish.

I used the Big Shot with the Scallop Circles #2 Die for the Espresso Circle and the 3" Circle die for the White card stock. I stamped the butterfly from Butterfly Prints stamp set and cut it out with the Butterfly Punch.

Convention 2011 Photos

Good morning!

Stamp Club went great yesterday and it felt really good to be teaching again!! Welcome new club member Melissa!

I've got a million things to do to catch up and the best way I know to start whacking off some items is to break out the timer.

My first task of the day was to upload some Stampin' Up! Convention photos ….so I set the timer for 30 minutes and loaded as many as I could in that time frame.

Convention Swap Card

Good morning!

It's so good to be home ….it feels like I've been gone for a month!!

I got home around 4:30pm yesterday and I was so tired I had to take a nap …. when I woke up I jumped up real fast thinking "I slept too late and missed my meeting"….clearly Convention was still on my brain 🙂 After my nap it was dinner … Big Brother and then off to bed.

My project for today is one of my Convention swap cards ….. this year I only had the time for two organized swaps. The cards I received are beautiful and I'm so glad I was able to join them!!

I have loads of info to share with you ….but …. I need a few days. Local Stamp Club is tomorrow and I need to unpack and regroup.

If you were a Fan of my Chic n Scratch Facebook page you were able to see a few updates during Convention. For those of you not on Facebook I'll share those details either tomorrow or Wednesday (depends on how much I can get done today).
