See ya tomorrow!

I love the Aviary stamp set found on page 121 of the new Idea Book & Catalog!! And ….out of everything I ordered…. I just had to use this stamp set first!! Almost everything on this card is new & I had a lot of fun making it….even though it's a pretty simple card to make.
I stamped the bird cage with Early Espresso ink and stamped the bird in the cage with Pear Pizzazz. My card measures 11 x 4 1/2, scored at 5 1/2. I used the Pear Pizzazz Designer Paper from the In Color Patterns Designer Paper Stack. This one will be a favorite of mine this year because it has multiple sheets of one color and that will make it much easier when designing for my clubs & classes.
Last but not least….isn't the new ribbon cute? It's the Pear Pizzazz 1/2" Stitched Poly Ribbon on page 190. I love how soft it is!!
Click here if you'd like to watch the video on how to make this card.
Thanks for all the comments and emails regarding Chase and the changes I'll be making. Several of your emails brought tears to my eyes & re-read all of them at least twice. From the bottom of my heart thank you!!!
Here's what I'm working on the next few days
Thanks for stopping by!!

I've been meaning to show you this card all week!! This was Sara's card from our team swap and I was super excited to get it! I love how she used the Trendy Trees Stamp set for the background on the real red card stock. She used the Crazy for Cupcakes stamp set with Teeny Tiny Wishes. And…. embossed the white card stock with the Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder.
Thanks for stopping by!!

Isn't this card beautiful? I just love it!! But I'm a little sad…… the Close as a Memory stamp set retires next week. Jennifer brought this card to show me last week and I loved it so much I had to take a picture real fast!
The colors she used were Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue, Very Vanilla & Soft Suede.

Exciting news…I got my Eighty Block Quilt back from the quilter today & here's a picture of it….but if you'd like to see all the pictures click on the Chick n Scratch button below to go to my quilting/sewing blog.
Good morning,
Isn't this card just beautiful? I wish it was my creation…… but I'm sad to say my stamp set has not seen ink….yet. I really need to work on that!! Next month I'm changing my Stamp Club to one card and one 3D project and this card would be a great one to start with!! Big thanks goes out to Jill O. she sent me this card last month and I love it!!!
She used the Elements of Style stamp set found in the Summer Mini Catalog along with the Presto Patterns Specialty Paper. If I'm not mistaken…you take a Brayer with your ink and roll is across to get the color. (I will figure it out before club next month!!)
A couple quick reminders. Please make sure you check out the retiring list and the accessories list and if you haven't checked out the clearance rack…it will be worth taking a peek!! The end of June will be here before we know it and there are some really good prices. (You can always find the specials on my Stampin' Up! website….by clicking on my "Shop Now" shopping cart. When you get to my SU site …. click on Promotions and that will bring up everything….except the Clearance Rack. It can be found when you click on Shop Now, then click on Clearance Rack on the left side.)
Yesterday I mailed out the Stampin' Stash stamp sets. Check out all the free sets I'm giving away in the month of June. Anyone that orders $75 & up will receive a free set from my Stampin' Stash.

My cards today are another look at some new product. The Greenhouse Gala Designer Paper is going to a favorite this year!! Last week I showed you the pattern that had the new Early Espresso color and today I'm showing you the Baja Breeze. I'm very excited this color is returning!
I used the Friends Never Fade stamp set with Baja Breeze ink and you can order the new items starting July 1st.
I'll be playing catch up today…..I read just a few of my emails over the weekend ….so I'll get busy on that first thing this morning…….and I have Stamp Club tomorrow 🙂
If you are interested in the Convention Quilt Block swap….I finished my first Quilt top this weekend posted a picture of it on my Chick n Scratch website. I'll start filming the videos today to show you how simple it is. Now for my dear customers…I'm going to host a swap with you all…..I'm looking at my calendar now and will decide on a date within the next week. Now that I've finished one I'm eager to start another. Click on the button is you'd like to check out my sewing/quilting blog.

My project today is a card that Amy made for our Team Swap. I love the pink & chocolate and I'm always happy to get a card with Glitter on it because I don't use it as often as I should!! She used the Chunky Sprinkles #111343 and this one is retiring June 30th.
The cupcake was made using the Big Bold Cupcake Sizzlit on page 197. The "happy birthday wishes" can be found in the Fun & Fast Notes stamp set.
Here's a picture of the inside….I love it when I get a card decorated on the inside!! She used the Birthday Bliss stamp set on page 71 with some of our Circle Punches.
Thanks for stopping by…..have a great day!!

p.s. I'll be back later to give you a link to my quilting blog…I'm working on that post next 🙂

My card today is using some of the new product :) If you're a Stampin' Up! demonstrator you can pre-order some of the new stuff this month and the Friends Never Fade stamp set is one of them.
Are you as excited as I am about the new catalog and the new stamps coming our way? I know I am!!
Now to my card…..I used the Friends Never Fade stamp set with the Greenhouse Gala Designer Paper. But wait…..I need to change the subject real fast and tell you….the designer paper selection in this catalog is sooooo yummy. You guys know my favorite colors and without giving any info out before I'm allowed ….I'll just tell you…… this year I'll be using lots of DSP!!! (DSP is the abbreviation for designer paper.)
Back to my card again for just a minute…..I used three of the new colors that include….. Pear Pizzazz, Early Expresso & Peach Parfait. My card measures 3 x 11 and I scored it at 5 1/2. It will fit in either our small open ended envelopes or the medium envelope. I started out by leaving the flower white and not coloring it in …but decided to step out of my box and add some color. I really like it 🙂
I made several cards using the this stamp set and paper and I'll sprinkle the other ones in …over the next week or so.
Thanks for stopping by!!
p.s. thanks for the emails about my headache!! I feel better ….or I should say my headache is gone but it left me with a sore throat. and you know how you feel after 24 hours of a really bad headache…. like you're afraid any minute it's going to return.
Good morning,
I bought the Little Bit of Magic Stamp set but I haven't had a chance to use it so I thought I would show you Danielle's card. She did a wonderful job coloring the fairies!! I have an idea of using this set with the Glassy Glaze enamel ….before it retires. I love making cracked glass cards and I better to get to it soon.
The rest of my post is a little off subject ….but not really. I collected fairies and dragonflies for years and thought I would share some of them with you. (Last month I shared the picture of my glass top table and I heard from several of you that you loved seeing that kind of thing….thanks for your emails!!)
The first picture is of my favorite Fairy and sometimes when I go out of town I hide her (don't ask).
The next one is my favorite large Fairy.
One of my favorite Dragonflies.
My 2nd favorite spot in my house (living room is my most favorite). There's a Fairy & some birds in my conservatory.
Have a great day!!!
Good morning,
Chase is in Tennessee…..Dave & Brooke went to the lake and I'm home working. It's very quiet…almost eerie quiet. So, I decided to start my day by finishing the May cards and starting June.
Today I'm going to show the process of how I make a bunch of cards because I know there are people out there that want this info. I know I really appreciate learning how to save time and money!!!
First I'll show my picture and then explain 🙂
The solid strip is 1/2 x 4 and I start off my cutting my card stock at 4 and then cut 1/2" strips. I have a video available on this card posted on my Chic n Scratch Live! website but the Sweet Pea Designer Paper has retired and the Only Ovals stamp set is retiring at the end of June (yes, I'm kicking myself that I waited this long to start using the set). Click here if you'd like to see my video.
Have a great day!!
