Card making

Good morning,

Chase is in Tennessee…..Dave & Brooke went to the lake and I'm home working.  It's very quiet…almost eerie quiet.   So, I decided to start my day by finishing the May cards and starting June.

Today I'm going to show the process of how I make a bunch of cards because I know there are people out there that want this info.  I know I really appreciate learning how to save time and money!!!

First I'll show my picture and then explain 🙂

Card making

This is my assembly line and I wanted to explain the process because I use every scrap of paper and that makes it very affordable!!  The base of the card is 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 ( 8 1/2 x 4 1/4 scored at 41/4).  You get two of them from a sheet of white card stock and you're left with a white strip that allows you to punch your "thanks" from the Only Ovals stamp set.  If you stamp them just right….you get four to a strip.

The solid strip is 1/2 x 4 and I start off my cutting my card stock at 4 and then cut 1/2" strips.  I have a video available on this card posted on my Chic n Scratch Live! website but the Sweet Pea Designer Paper has retired and the Only Ovals stamp set is retiring at the end of June (yes, I'm kicking myself that I waited this long to start using the set).  Click here if you'd like to see my video.

Have a great day!!
