Two Pocket Treat Holder … smaller version

Two pocket holder My project today is another Two Pocket Treat Holder … and the only difference is … it's smaller.

This time …. I decided to turn the pockets in … and it's a perfect Tea Bag Holder … it will hold two tea bags.

The Everyday Enchantment Designer Paper measures 6 x 6 and you score it at 3/4 at the bottom and 2-3/4 on each end. If you watch last weeks video you'll see what I mean. Click here to go there now.   I'll film a video on a smaller version soon.

The Flower in the middle comes from the Island Floral Die  …and I attached two of them together with the Designer Printed Brads and popped it up with a Dimensional.

I used Lucky Limeaid and Pool Party Seam Binding along with the Pool Party Bakers Twine.

My children are on Spring Break this week and I'll have limited time in my office and on my computer.  If you have an urgent message please type "urgent" or "vip" in the subject line and I'll make sure I check those emails first.   Downline girls (and men) you have my cell phone number and you're welcome to call me if you need anything.

Thanks & have a great day!!

Petite Purse

Everyday Enchantment Petite Purse
My project today is the Petite Purse and in April you'll be able to purchase the die to use with the Big Shot Die Cut Machine.

I'm sharing these pictures with you early because … the Petite Purse Big L Die will be available in April …but ….by then the Sale-a-bration Designer Paper will be gone.  I know ….. I'm really sad that my most favorite designer paper …. ever…. is leaving soon!!

It's the Everyday Enchantment Designer Paper and right now it's free when you purchase $50 or more …see the Sale-a-bration Catalog for all the details (or contact me).

Here's a picture of all three  … they're so fast and easy you can't make just one.

Petite Purse1I couldn't decide which picture I liked best so you can to see another one ….
Petite Purse Along with the Everyday Enchantment Designer Paper I used the Everyday Enchantment Ribbon & Brad Pack …and the Sweet Shop Jelly Bean Brads.

When the Petite Purse Big L Die becomes available I'll get a video posted for you to see how quick and easy they are to make.

Everybunny Easter Card

Everybunny Suede CardMy Everybunny Easter Card is just like the one I shared with you last week … except I changed the colors.

Everybunny Card
I received several requests for a video on how I made this card ……so here ya go … Click here to head over to my Chic n Scratch Live! website to watch it.

I used the darling Everybunny stamp set with the free designer paper in the Sale-a-bration catalog.  It’s the Everyday Enchantment DSP and don’t forget you have until March 31st.  (I really wish it would stay in our product line FOREVER … I LOVE it!!)

I stamped the rabbit with Black Stazon ink and then colored it with the Aqua Painter.

After I cut the Top Note with the Big Shot Die Cut Machine …I positioned it on the Paper Cutter and cut off 1/2″ … if you watch the video you’ll see how.

Next week is going to be crazy … be sure to check in!!

Thanks & have a great weekend!

Everybunny Treat Holder & another one ….

Tagtastic Framelit Treat HolderLast week I shared with you the Everybunny Treat Holder that we made at Stamp Club …. and I promised you a video tutorial.

I’m happy to report it’s ready over on my Chic n Scratch Live! website, CLICK HERE to go there now.

The video demonstrates the Everybunny Treat Holder …. but my post today is on the Tagtastic Framelit Treat Holder.  I made them exactly the same …the only difference is I attached the Everyday Enchantment Designer Paper to the Lucky Limeaid card stock before I scored it.

I used the Tagtastic stamp set  (it’s a Hostess stamp set on page 13 of the Idea Book & Catalog) with Lucky Limeaid ink and cut it out with the Extra Large Oval Punch. I sponged the edges before I attached it with a Stampin Dimensional.

Thanks & have a great day!!

Birthday Treat Tube

Birthday Treat TubeToday's project is another Treat Tube and this one is a little easier to make.

After I made the first one I decided to tweak the size and make it larger ..but not as large as the one we were shown in the Stampin Success.  Once you've made one of the treat tubes you'll see that you can make them in any size.

I choose to make a simpler version this time ….so that if you needed to make a bunch …. you could.  The only difference is the size and instead of the punch I used the Island Floral die for the Top.

Here's two of the questions I was ask yesterday ..

  1. "What do you put inside the Treat Tube?"   I have candy in mine… Hershey Kisses and little chocolate Easter eggs.
  2. "How do you open it?"  You'll have to rip open the top or bottom.  Or you could use brads on each flower.

I used the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper with the Elementary Elegance stamp set ….both items can be found in the Sale-a-bration catalog.

Click here if you'd like to head over to my Chic n Scratch Live! website to watch the video tutorial.

Thanks & have a great day!!

Lots of little things …..

My post today is covering several topics …..

  • My Chiclettes – anyone that redeems their Reward Punch card with me this year becomes one of My Chiclettes and will receive a special gift.  I've have your gifts on order and the delivery date has been pushed back to March 7th … I can't wait to show you what it is and I think you'll agree it was worth the wait!!  (If you redeemed your card in January or February .. I have your name on my spreadsheet and as soon as they arrive I'll get it in the mail).
  • Blog Candy winner from Jan.6th has been unclaimed … Shaila G.  Your name was drawn to win the Blog Candy.  Please send me your address so I can mail your package.

Blog Candy winner from Jan. 13th … Beth B .. I emailed you again this morning.  I need your address too.

Q & A Video/Recording:  I'm working on a Q & A video and f you'd like to ask a question … please email me your questions to angie@mychicnscratch.com.  Please put in the subject line Q & A.

Subject lines:  I have a favor to ask ….when you send an email to me please remember to use the subject line  …. and if you can have it relate to your question or comment.  Junk email has increased A LOT lately and your subject lines are more important than ever.

Audio Message:  THANK YOU!!!  …I loved hearing all the positive responses to my audio message yesterday …..you made my day!!    Someone ask how did I come up with the idea … and I thought I would share it with you … especially because it's how I come up with almost everything I've done on my blog for the past 5 -1/2 years.

So …the story is …as I was typing my blog post yesterday … it occurred to me that my message would be easier if I could just talk.   So … that got me to thinking about the conference calls I had last week with my downline and business coach.  On conference calls and you have the option of recording (if you pay extra)…. so that made me think "can I just record a message" …"not on a phone call" …. so I googled "how to get audio files posted on a blog"  …. I then spent the next hour re-wording that question until I found my answer.  The first one I found the quality was low and it's was flash & that meant it would not work on iPhone or iPad and I can't have that …so I went to Google again and found my answer ….. it took some digging but I got it.  That's brings me to my next subject ….

How did I get here:  I've had several people ask me how I got to where I'm at in my Stampin Up business…. that's a really good question. I guess I need to share "My Why"…. but it's long story .. so I can't go into it today.  But … I'm thinking of doing a video or audio message to share with you…if you attended some of my UStreams you've heard bits & pieces.   The thing I want to share today …whether you're one of my customers or a Stampin Up friend …. don't ever give up on something you want.  I tried for years & years …and just when I was about to give up …I made some changes and then it happened …almost like meeting my husband … at the age of 24 I was sure I would never find the man of my dreams and just when I thought I was done … he appeared 🙂

Holy cow …  too much information today …but I want everyone out there to always have HOPE.  I tell my kids …there isn't anything we can't fix or get through together …. and there isn't anything you can't do if you set your mind to it …you have to BELIEVE it.  The biggest battle is believing.  When Chase and Brooke were little …I taught them how to rollerblade by learning how myself … right in front of them and I have two left feet (not really but I'm a klutz) …. they saw me fall down a bunch …but I kept picking myself up and each time they would laugh at me.  After two days …all three of us were roller blading (I have since quit after falling and breaking a bone).

Sorry for the long post today … I'm not sure why I feel so wordy … I hope I haven't scared you off!

Have a great day!!

p.s. Either later today or tomorrow I'm going to post some cards and gifts I've received over the past few months.  Thank you ladies!!!

Paper Doily Thank you

Paper Doily Thank youMy card today was made with the Paper Doily Sizzlit Die & the Curly Cute stamp set.

We used Wisteria Wonder card stock with the Flirtatious Designer Paper and the greeting was stamped with Concord Crush ink.

We scalloped the edges of the Whisper White card stock with the Scallop Edge Border Punch, added the DSP & then tied the White Organza Ribbon around it.

If you're having trouble with getting the little pieces of paper out of your Paper Doily Die …try adding some packing tape to the die and it should help.

Everybunny Treat Holder

Everybunny Treat Holder
My project today is the Everybunny Treat Holder and we made this at Stamp Club yesterday.

I used the Labels Framelits to make it and I’ll have a video ready in a few days … and yes I’d be happy to do a video on yesterdays card as well.

I created this project after I checked out the candy selection at Walgreens …I discovered that the Easter candy is smaller than the Valentine candy.  For example the Kit Kat bars are one strip instead of two 🙂  You’ll see what I mean in the video.

The darling chick is from the Everybunny stamp set and I stamped it with Black Stazon ink onto Shimmery White card stock and then colored the image with the Aqua Painter with Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Lucky Limeaid.  I added Dazzling Details for the circles on the egg.

The Happy Easter greeting is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set and I cut it out with the Word Window Punch.

Here’s the Stampin Up supplies:

  • Stamps:  Everybunny W#122705 C#122707, Teeny Tiny Wishes #115370
  • Ink:  Black Stazon #101406, Daffodil Delight #119667, Pumpkin Pie #105216, Lucky Limeaid #122935
  • Card Stock:  Daffodil Delight #119683, Shimmery White #101910, Pear Pizzazz #119795
  • Tools/Accessories:  Labels Framelits #125598, Big Shot Die Cut Machine #113439, Dazzling Details #124117, Word Window Punch #119857, Dimensionals #104430, Pear Pizzazz #119265, 1-3/8 Circle Punch #119860, Linen Thread #104199, 1-3/4 Scallop Circle Punch #119854

My first Everybunny Card

Everybunny CardMy card today is the first project I’ve made with the Everybunny stamp set …and I love it!!!

I used the Everyday Enchantment Designer Paper that’s in the Sale-a-bration catalog along with Pool Party, Calypso Coral and Soft Suede.  I really wanted to use Lucky Limeaid card stock ….but since my other Stamp Club project uses Pear Pizzazz I decided to go out of my comfort zone and use other colors 🙂

I stamped the bunny with Black Stazon ink onto Watercolor Paper and colored it with the Aqua Painter.

Here’s the Stampin Up! supply list:

  • Stamps:  Everybunny W#122705 C#122707
  • Ink:  Black Stazon #101406, Soft Suede 115657, Calypso Coral #122939, Pool Party #122938, Blushing Bride #119786
  • Card Stock:  Pool Party #122924, Calypso Coral #122925, Soft Suede #115318, Very Vanilla #101650, Watercolor Paper #122959, Everyday Enchantment DSP #126154
  • Tools/Accessories:  Modern Label Punch #119849, Top Note Die #113463, Big Shot Die Cut Machine #113439, Pool Party Seam Binding #125582, Dimensionals #104430

My project today is the Two Tags Post it Notes that I made using the Two Tags Die with the Big Shot.

Some of you have seen this project before.  Last summer I was offering a sneak peek …but then with all my health issues I forgot to release it to everyone.  After my last bloopers video I had someone remind me I hadn’t shared it.

Here’s a picture of the inside ….
