Petite Purse

Petite Purse Club Project
My project today is the Petite Purse and it was one of our Stamp Club projects this month.

We used the Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper with the Petite Purse die that's featured in the Summer Smooches promotion.

We used a combination of Jelly Bean Brads & Designer Printed Brads with it.

Click here if you'd like to watch a video tutorial on how to make it.  The video also includes how I made this one that I shared with you on April 12th.

Just for you Petite Purse1

This is my warm up version  … I played it for about an hour and decided I want to go in another direction …but I really need to check email too.  So, I'll share another one on Monday …along with a video tutorial.

I used the Butterfly Prints stamp set that's retiring on May 31st … with Baja Breeze ink.

On a personal note:  My body has finally adjusted to the lack of caffeine and sugar … I'm happy to be rid of the headaches but I sure miss my Coffee!!!

Please email me if you've received the error message I'll be sure to contact Stampin Up first thing Monday morning.

So sorry this is happening! I know some of you were planning on ordering after you joined tonight .. I'm confident Stampin Up will make it right on Monday.

Help wanted … in Kansas

I'm looking for a couple people ….locally …so if you live near Overland Park, KS and want to work a few hours let me know.

Here's what I'm needing ….

  1. Do you love to stamp?  I need help stamping!!  This person could take the work home … but the paper will need to be cut at my house (industrial cutter in my office cuts large amounts at one time).
  2.  I need someone to clean my office once a week or every other week.  Job would include cleaning off my papercrafting desk …. organizing the paper scraps from my week of creating, filing papers, putting stamp sets back where they belong …etc.  It's an easy job … but my time is better spent providing customer service & creating.

Contact me if you'd like to apply for either position at 913.851.3336 or angie@mychicnscratch.com.

Don't forget Sale-a-bration ends Saturday!!

Coming soon …..

I'm super excited to share with you that I'm making some changes to My Chic n Scratch blog.

Later this spring you can expect to see a brand new website.

So ….  I thought it would be fun to have you help me 🙂

My 1st question is ….

What categories do you look for the most?

If you look on my right side bar …you'll see a bunch …..and I need to narrow it down to 10 or 12.

Right now I'm leaning towards these ….

  • 3D
  • Cards
  • Punch Art
  • Holidays/Occasions
  • Stampin' Up!
  • Sales/Specials
  • Organization
  • Catalogs
  • Tutorials
  • Scrapbooking
  • Clubs/Classes/Kits
  • Events
  • Personal

That's 13 … one more than I want …. any suggestions?  What am I missing? or what can I toss?

Next we have subcategories …

Holidays/Occasions … the sub categories would be

  • Birthday
  • Christmas
  • Easter
  • Fathers Day
  • Mothers Day
  • Halloween
  • July 4th
  • Thanksgiving
  • May Day
  • St Patrick's Day
  • Anniversary
  • Baptism
  • Sympathy
  • Get Well

I have a lot of work to do on subcategories!!

If you'd like to offer some suggestions I'd love to hear them.

Please leave a comment on this post and later this Spring when I launch the new site I'll be sure to reward at least one person with some awesome Blog Candy!  (If I have an overwhelming response I'll reward more.)

I hope you're as excited as I am!!!

Stay tuned for more questions on my new website 🙂
