Good morning!!

Today I'm showing you the Box #2 again….but this time …..I used the other side of the Good Morning Sunshine paper. Last week I showed you the side with Chocolate and today I'm showing you the Pacific Point. It's a good thing Stampin' Up! put the Cheep Talk stamp set in our Idea Book & Catalog…otherwise I made not have ever used the Pacific Point color. (What was I thinking? It's a very rich color and I like it!)

My box was made with the New Big Shot Box #2 die. I used the Good Morning Sunshine Designer Paper with the Cheep Talk stamp set. The ribbon is one of the Free items you get during Sale-a-bration. It's the Ribbon Bundle and it's featured on page 5 of the Sale-a-bration brochure.

Good evening!

Thanks for all the really nice comments you guys left me over the past two days! I really appreciate it and I have read every single one of them….that’s why I’m late posting the winner. Congrats to Nada!! You won 🙂 Please send me your address and I’ll get the goodies out to you asap.

Chic Stand Update….I figure I better post it on this blog too 🙂 they are on backorder….and ….they are being re-designed…New & Improved!! I expect my shipment late Feb or early March….I think it will be worth the wait and when they arrive you can expect a new video 🙂

Speaking of videos I’ve filmed two new ones….do you want to hear that it took me 12 takes to get them? I swear…the phone rang, the dogs barked, the kids shut a door, the phone rang, the dogs barked. I kid you not!! I made Chase and Brook come watch them so they could see why steam was coming out of my ears…just kidding…but seriously I was about to call it a day…maybe you’ll get a kick out of them knowing how much effort I put into it 🙂

The first video was on the Big Shot Texturz Plates. After showing you the Bag with Scallops the other day I had shared with some of you that a video was coming…..thanks for being patient with me! The 2nd video is the Bag w/Scallops…Click here to go watch that video. Remember when I told you I had made several of the Bag w/Scallops? Here’s a couple pictures of two more of them.

The first picture …..I used the Animal Crackers Stamp set with the So Saffron Striped Ribbon. I sponged So Saffron ink after I embossed it with the Backgrounds #1 Texturz Plate.

On the next picture I used the Good Morning Sunshine designer paper with the Cheep Talk stamp set. I still want to play around with it….I’m missing something 🙂

2009 Spring & Summer Idea Book & Catalog

Hi, I'm super excited about the new catalog and decided to stay up late so I could show you some fun projects. But, before I show the pictures, please make sure you read the post below. It has all the details on ordering from the new catalog (on line orders are unavailable from now until noon on Monday, Mountain Time….my Stampin' Up! website will also be down until noon).

The first picture is of the Good Friend Stationery Box we made at Leadership….I love those birds… both the stamp set and the Chipboard!! It's the Good Friend stamp set and the Chipboard is So Tweet. (cute name too!)

Next is the card that we made to go in the box…..again I totally love it…but maybe it's just me & birds :) Wait until you see the owl 🙂

I'll be honest, I've not had the best relationship with the Stamp-a-ma-jig. But… it works great with this stamp set. If you're like me….I've had a hard time remembering how to use it. But, this stamp set is perfect for the Stamp-a-ma-jig and now that I've got it….I won't be forgetting how to use it!!

I'm so excited I need to do a video….but I need to come up with my own card first.

Moving right along….after I assembled my Good Friend Stationery BoxI decided to tweak the measurements and find a way to make the box using one sheet of 12 x 12 cardstock. I made one using solid cardstock and one using Designer paper (I'll show you the designer paper one later this week). I also made it a little thicker so I could add some candy 🙂

Sorry, my picture doesn't do it justice…by the time I was finished it was dark outside & I need to take another picture to show you the side view…I'll do that later today.

And, I forgot to show you the candy inside. I usedmy favorite "Ferrero Rocher". This will make you laugh….that's my favorite chocolate candy…but I'm clueless on how to say the name :)))

I'm working on the video and will post it tomorrow (Tuesday)…..if all goes well. I have to take Chase to the doctor and have some tests run….he has an ankle that keeps hurting him, we thought it was growing pains (the doctor agreed) but now it's getting worse and waking him up at night. I'm a little freaked out!!

Good Morning!!

I'm super excited to show you today's project. But…I can not take credit for it… Pam Morgan…. showed us how to make it on stage at Leadership and I knew the minute she showed it to us I was going to rush home and make one. I not only made one….I made about 20 :) I got a little carried away….you can relate can't you?

So, what do you think…..cute isn't it? I'll show you a picture of it without the Hershey Kisses & then I'll show you a group shot of a few of the others. And …..later today I'll post a video on my Stampin' Academy.

To make one you'll need the Big Shot Die Cut Machine and the Scallop Circle die.

Home from Leadership

Hi,

just a quick note….I'm alive and well….but exhausted with an capital E!!

This is one of my swaps I took to Leadership and starting tomorrow I'll try to get some photos loaded in the Leadership photo album (on the right side of this blog). I also need some time to go through my notes and give you accurate news.

I think the biggest news of all was the announcement of our digital scrapbooking coming later this year. It's called "My Digital Studio"and they gave us a sneak peak… it's truly a WOW. Ladies, if you're thinking that you're not the best on computers and it might not be for you….the program runs much like Microsoft Word…so if you can get around that you'll be fine….but…. if you can't…you have time now to learn it before our product is released. (you can find tutorials on the Microsoft website that will teach you.)

Important news…the Love you Much Bundleis available for you to order on-line again & it's perfect that my project uses the Love you much stamp set.
