12 Days of Christmas 2019 Day 2

12 Days of Christmas 2019 Day 2 with Chic n Scratch, Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Angie Juda

Day Two of the 12 Days of Christmas is this Tea Bag Gift Holder and I used the Cup of Christmas Bundle to make it.  The Bundle includes the Cup of Christmas Stamp Set and the Cup of Cheer Dies.

Every year I make these and typically I use candy or chocolate to fill them.  But this year I’m using tea bags.  Brooke LOVES tea and this is going to be a perfect gift for her!

This project is so super simple and you can make a bunch of them really quickly!! All you need is a piece of 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper.  To finish it off you can just slide it in a cellophane bag.

You can use any tea bags but I found two different kinds on Amazon (I bought both since Brooke drinks at least three or four cups a day).

Here’s the Tazo Tea Bags over on Amazon….

Here’s the Twinings Tea Bags over on Amazon…..

Here’s the darling little spoons, over on Amazon….(you can also find them at Dollar Tree if you have one in your city).

Here’s the Nektar Honey Crystal Packets… these are out of stock at the moment but you’ll see other ones available on Amazon.

I choose Garden Green color because I wanted to use the Garden Green 3/8″ Double Stitched Ribbon but you could make these in any color and they would look good.

Here’s the video tutorial ….

  2. such a simple, quick and super cute gift idea. I could see putting these into a bag and gifting these to people you meet up with in the day to day errand runs while putting your information on where to find you on social media.

  4. Thank you for sharing these cute projects for us. The tea bag would be great for anytime of year and a way to use up some paper that maybe we don’t like as well as some other sheets. Also a great gift for someone with cold and flu season starting.

  7. I have made these a lot but never thought to add a little spoon with a perky ribbon. The silver scalloped backing goes so well with the spoon. I have this bundle and I can tell it will get a workout. With a zillion kinds of tea and a ton of DSP, I will be having a great time!

It helps so much to be able to see what you’re doing along with reading the directions sheet you so kindly add to your tutorials. Thank you!!
