Stampin’ Up! Blessing Mix
For 2013 my Blessing Mix is in a Wide Mouth Ball Jar and there’s no stamping involved…. but you could add a cute little tag if you have time.
Since I’ve been traveling the entire month of November I needed something really quick and simple and the jar is just the ticket … with the Burlap of course … I love that stuff!!
Here’s a video on how to make the Blessing Mix Jar.
If you’re reading this blog post in your email box please visit my blog to see the video.

Here’s the Blessing Mix Poem:
The Bugles are a symbol of the Cornucopia, a horn of plenty.
The Pretzels represent arms folded in Thanks & Prayer.
The Candy Corn reminds us that during the first winter, the pilgrims were allowed only five kernels of corn per day because the food was scarce.
The Fruit is a reminder that Thanksgiving is the celebration of the harvest.
The Peanuts represent seeds, the potential of the bounteous harvest of the next season if they are planted & well tended.

Hi Angie,
Thanks for sharing the idea for a quick and easy favor. I wouldn’t mind just getting a copy of the poem in the circle . I can’t seem to find a poem printed that has the same items in it. I looked at several and m&m’s are in it.
Thanks and have a nice day.

I wish I was following in years before. Would have loved to make some for the Grange craft fair this Saturday. Well I guess next year will have to do.
I love the poem. I was trying to decide what to put on the places for Thanksgiving, now I know. Just have to decide on the vehicle that will hold the blessing mix. Thanks for your great ideas. Ilena

Thanks for sharing…
That is the sweetest gift giving craft I have seen in a long time love, love, love it
I got hooked on making up the Blessing Mix for my family {and church family} after watching one of your videos several years ago, and I always look forward to seeing how you creatively package them. The past few weeks have been so busy, and I’ve been trying to figure out a way to package them that didn’t take so much time. LOVE this! It’s beautiful – yet not so time consuming. THANK YOU for always coming up with wonderful, creative ideas! Have a blessed Thanksgiving!
I do enjoy seeing all your videos. I have been following you now for a couple of years and like all your blessing mix ideas.
