I've got the Matchbox on my brain this week and I decided to try it with the Merry Winter stamp set. I can't wait to use this set later this fall for some Holiday crafts!!!
It's the same box as yesterday and the day before …the only difference is I turned it the other direction. I used the brand new Chocolate Chip Scallop Dots Ribbon and I embossed the top of the matchbox with the Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder.
And ….best of all ….I used a new product that will be available in the Holiday Mini Catalog. It's called Dazzling Details and it's Glitter Glue …. it's clear and hard to see on a blog but in person it's very pretty. As some of you know I'm allergic to glitter and this product solves my problem … thank you Stampin' Up!!!!!!
I went back & forth about coloring the snowman but since I'm in a hurry today I decided to keep him simple.
Here's the supply list for the Merry Winter Matchbox:
- Merry Winter stamp set – Wood #122700 – Clear #122702
- Matchbox Die #114890
- Big Shot Die Cut Machine #113439

- Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder #117335
- Dazzling Details …. coming soon in the Holiday Mini Catalog
- Chocolate Chip ink #100908 & card stock #102128
- Baja Breeze card stock #111352
Thanks & have a great day!!
Personal Note: I have my Thyroid Biopsy today and I'm so nervous I'm sick to my stomach!! I'm sure all will be well …but the thought of needles in my throat….with me awake ….oh dear!!
I need to ask all of you to please be patient with me! Since April my life has fallen apart and in all this I've met some of the nicest people ever …and a few not so nice. All I can say is I'm human ….I'm doing my best. If you really know me you already know that. Before April my normal workday was 7am to midnight …but I'm sick right now and by 5pm I'm toast (actually 3pm but I force myself to keep going). I'm also not working on weekends … but I promise you I'll get through all this and be a better person for it!! I have faith 🙂
Hang in there Angie, We are all praying for you!! Thank you for your beautiful inspiration. Your blog is fantastic!
Well, you will be in my thoughts and prayers today. As far as the mean people you’ve met lately, ignore them. If they’ve never had a crisis in their life they’ve had to deal with, they will someday. Then, they might be sorry for their unkind treatment of others. You just focus on getting better. Good luck to you today. While they are sticking that needle in your neck, just be thinking about your next fun project you want to make. ; )
You are appreciated by many you don’t even know!
Here here, a smile and a kind word doesn’t cost a thing and it means so much.
Take care of yourself.
Kathy x.
Angie, you’re in my thoughts and prayers!

GodBless You Angie–Hang In there… Beging sick is Not fun. I know it to well. Take it slow!
Hope everything goes, I’ve followed your tutorials on you tube and just came across you on Facebook. Thank you for all your inspiration and sending well wishes across the pond.
Well, gee, Angie, you really should be taking more time for yourself, especially if you been sick. Nobody should work from 7am to midnight, that is just too many hours in one day and yes you need the week-ends for yourself and your family. Hope all goes well with your biopsy today, I’d be nervous and sick to my stomach too, take care!
Angie, I am aware of all of your trials this year, and I cannot believe you are still doing this blog and your wonderful videos. Keep being strong, and know that there are many people (fans!!) that are sending good thoughts your way. I am disgusted that some people would be so unkind, they are shameless. Take care.
Angie,
I am praying for you today and always. You hang in there and know that God is in control.
I admire you so much and it makes me so mad to know that people are being mean. Not only do they not know what they’re talking about but it’s a total waste of energy. I know you’ve had a really rough year. Hang in there girl.
Maybe this will make you smile… I have a list of blogs in my favorites bar. Every morning YOURS is the first one I look at for inspiration for my day. I am sure I’m not the only one. When you post a video it’s like Christmas for me.
Hugs
Colleen

Angie,
I am a fellow demo and have just read your post about being sick and just want to say I hope all goes well and that you need to do what is best for you. I was diagnosed with cancer in May and have for the most part been trying to keep up my business along with working and caring for my family. My stamp ladies have been great and I am sure 95 % of yours are too. Don’t let the ones that aren’t bring you down. Take care of yourself and be well. Lisa Martin
Hope all goes well Angie. Look after yourself **Big Hugs*
