Heart Treat Cups

My project today used the Heart Treat Cups with the Well Scripted Stamp Set.

Heart Treat Cup

I have a video available on how to make this Valentine Treat Holder.  But I need to explain why I choose to not use the adhesive provided on the Heart Treat Cups.
I like to recycle and re-use things….and if I used the adhesive on it then it would be permanent.  To be honest, it would be easier to use the adhesive but I like knowing I can take it apart & use it again :)   The Heart Treat Cups are very affordable & you get 12 of them for $2.95, you can see the flyer under Specials on the left side of this blog.

Stamp club girls….this is one of your January projects.

Fox & Friends Candy Box

Fox & Friends Candy box

I like this box so much I had to make a few more!   I used the Fox & Friends Stamp set with the Well Scripted Stamp set.  Both are stamped with Chocolate Chip ink.

I used the Sweet Pea Designer Paper with Old Olive & Chocolate Chip.

Fox candy box

Do you know why I like the Fox & Friends stamp set so much?

Because the images fit in the Scallop Circle punch & that's one of my favorites!!

Here's the next one……

Sending Love Candy Box

I created this box because I used all the Rose Red flowers from the Sweet Pea Stitched Felt pack and I needed to make something using the smaller flower.  I stamped the image from the Vintage Labels stamp set from the Sale-a-bration Catalog. I punched it out with the Scallop Circle Punch & layered it onto the Scallop Circle from the Pennant Die. The Designer paper is the Sending Love Specialty Paper from the Occasions Mini Catalog. I added the Sweet Pea Stitched Felt with Tombow Liquid Glue.  (After I made it, I thought about sponging the edges.)

If  you'd like to see how to make one of these boxes I've posted a Video Tutorial on my Chic n Scratch Live! website.  Click here to go there now.  Or if you'd like to purchase the instructions in a pdf file, click here to head over to The Chic Stand.

Sweet Pea Stitched Felt Candy Box

Candy Box

I learned how to make this box last week when I was at the Stampin’ Up! Leadership & Regional meeting.  One of the perks of being a demo is all the wonderful ideas.  You can find inspiration from all over and I took two ideas from our meeting and mixed them together.     Keep reading for all the details 🙂

Here’s the inside of the box……

Candy Box inside

The Supply list and the side view is in the post below this one.  Isn’t the Sweet Pea Stitched Felt just darling?  And don’t you love the Well Scripted stamp set?  Both items are in the Occasions Mini Catalog and don’t forget that during Sale-a-bration you get a free item with every $50 purchase (before tax & shipping). And don’t forget to add your punches to your Reward Punch Card.

Everyone should have their Mini Catalogs by now.  But if you haven’t please let me know and I’ll mail one to you.

Here’s the box they showed on stage. I see the I {heart} Hearts stamp set, Just Perfect Stamp set, Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot Ribbon, Linen Thread & the Heart to Heart Punch.

And here’s the darling project that Jan gave me. I loved her idea so much that it inspired me to use her idea on the box.  (Hey Jan, I had a blast getting the giggles with you the other night….we could totally be sisters!!)

As you can see…. I only made a few changes….When something looks that good, don’t mess with it :)  Here’s the inside….

Love Bots Valentines

Good morning!

I have one more day in Phoenix and I need to make this fast…heading out to the Stampin' Up! Regional meeting.

I had to post these darling projects today.  It occurred to me that after Patty's wonderful presentation these goodies just might sell out before I have a chance to show them to you.  All three pictures are Patty's displays from Leadership and I'm totally impressed!!

Pattys love bots

 Birdhouse

I can't wait to make that birdhouse…I will for sure be casing that idea!

The Love Bots Valentines & the Eggcellent Eggs Kit are both while supplies last and after you see all the beautiful things you can do with both ….you just might want to order them 🙂

When I get home….I'll post more pictures so you can see the full potential.

Have a great day!!

Valentine Treat Holder

My project today is a Valentine Treat Holder…… one that I make every year.
This time I used the Love Bandit stamp set and I made it in two colors trying to decide which I liked best.

You tell me which one do you think I liked best?
I made 40 of them for the Regional meeting on Saturday
(or I should say I'm in the process of making them).

I've filmed a video on how to make it with the Perfect Polka Dots Impressions Folder.
Click here  if you'd like to head over to my Chic n Scratch Live! website to watch the video.

Thanks for joining me!!

Love Bandit Nerds

My project today is a little box of Nerds candy.

It's that time of year to start working on your Valentines Treats & this would be perfect to give your children's classmates.
It's simple & easy to make & affordable too!

I used two new products that will be available in the 2010 Occasions Mini Catalog.
It's the Love Bandit Stamp set & the Perfect Polka Dots Impressions Folder.
(I'll show you more images of the Love Bandit stamp set later in the week.)

The bags of Valentine candy include little boxes of Nerds, Laffy Taffy & Bottle Caps
My posts over the next few days will be all the different items I made to hold those three candies.

I'm leaving for the Stampin' Up! Leadership meeting Tuesday morning (very early) and I'll have access to my email when I'm gone.
If you need anything please don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks for joining me!!

Movers & Shapers Matchbox

My project today uses three new stamp sets with the Matchbox.

The little owl is from the Love Bandit stamp set that will be featured in the 2010 Occasions Mini Catalog

The "thank you" is from the Happy Moments stamp set and it's featured in the 2010 Sale-a-bration Catalog.

And the frame around the owl is from the Vintage Labels stamp set ……. found in the Sale-a-bration brochure.

Here's a picture of the inside.

Both catalogs will go live on Jan. 5th, 2010.

I placed the owl and the thank you on the clear block together and stamped it in the middle of the frame.  I punched the image out with the Curly Label Punch and the Melon Mambo piece you see behind it came from the Curly Label Movers & Shapers.

I filmed a video on how to use the Movers & Shapers without using the Curly Label die and will load it on You Tube this evening (my way special of using the Magnetic dies).

Thanks for joining me!

p.s. still at the hospital with Dave….when we get home…I'll load the video on You Tube.

Love Bandit Matchbox

My project today is the Love Bandit Matchbox (quick & simple version).

I'm having a hard time deciding….do I talk about the new stamps that will be available Jan. 5th in the 2010 Occasions Mini Catalog or the 12 Days of Holiday Sales?

The Stampin' Up! Matchbox Die & the Pennant Die are both on sale until tomorrow night and you can fit all sorts of Valentine candy right inside.

I filmed a video on how to assemble the box with the lid closing instead of sliding open. And, during the video I show you all the different kinds of candy.  Click here if you'd like to head over to my Chic n Scratch Live! blog to watch the video.  (It also includes the supply list over there.)

Here's a picture of the inside with two small boxes of Nerds.

I used the brand new Love Bandit Stamp set and stamped it with Soft Suede ink with Melon Mambo cardstock.  (not sure if I've used those colors together before but I thought I would give it a try.)

Gotta run …. stamp club starts in a few hours 🙂

Thanks for joining me!!
