Everybunny Treat Holder & another one ….

Tagtastic Framelit Treat HolderLast week I shared with you the Everybunny Treat Holder that we made at Stamp Club …. and I promised you a video tutorial.

I’m happy to report it’s ready over on my Chic n Scratch Live! website, CLICK HERE to go there now.

The video demonstrates the Everybunny Treat Holder …. but my post today is on the Tagtastic Framelit Treat Holder.  I made them exactly the same …the only difference is I attached the Everyday Enchantment Designer Paper to the Lucky Limeaid card stock before I scored it.

I used the Tagtastic stamp set  (it’s a Hostess stamp set on page 13 of the Idea Book & Catalog) with Lucky Limeaid ink and cut it out with the Extra Large Oval Punch. I sponged the edges before I attached it with a Stampin Dimensional.

Thanks & have a great day!!

Birthday Treat Tube

Birthday Treat TubeToday's project is another Treat Tube and this one is a little easier to make.

After I made the first one I decided to tweak the size and make it larger ..but not as large as the one we were shown in the Stampin Success.  Once you've made one of the treat tubes you'll see that you can make them in any size.

I choose to make a simpler version this time ….so that if you needed to make a bunch …. you could.  The only difference is the size and instead of the punch I used the Island Floral die for the Top.

Here's two of the questions I was ask yesterday ..

  1. "What do you put inside the Treat Tube?"   I have candy in mine… Hershey Kisses and little chocolate Easter eggs.
  2. "How do you open it?"  You'll have to rip open the top or bottom.  Or you could use brads on each flower.

I used the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper with the Elementary Elegance stamp set ….both items can be found in the Sale-a-bration catalog.

Click here if you'd like to head over to my Chic n Scratch Live! website to watch the video tutorial.

Thanks & have a great day!!

Framelits Treat Holder

Mixed Bunch Treat HolderShelli showed us how to make this darling treat holder with the Framelits last week at the Stampin Up Leadership meeting.

I love going to all the meetings and getting new ideas … when I saw her demonstrate this project (a little differently …she used the Apothecary Art stamp set) I couldn't wait to get home and make one!!

I used the Labels Collection Framelits with Peach Parfait Textured Card Stock to make the holder.

I stamped the flower from the Mixed Bunch stamp set with Pear Pizzazz ink and then cut it out with the Blossom Punch…. then added a Designer Printed Brad to the center.

The strip in the middle is two pieces that I cut out with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch and layered on top a 3/4" piece of DSP. (I should have used Pear Pizzazz but I think I may have used Certainly Celery …I love that it works either way.)

I've filmed a video and I'm working on the editing now .. hopefully I'll have it ready late this afternoon.
