Upside down owl is a Ghost :)

Ghost

Last Saturday when we were streaming live on Ustream, the ladies walked me through turning the owl into a ghost.  What a brilliant idea!!

All you need is the Two Step Owl Punch and the Pumpkin Faces Sizzlit Die.  It's so easy….you just cut the feet off and turn it upside down and you have a ghost.

For the box I added a belly band around it and I used the Brand new Spider Web embossing folder.  It will be available starting next Wednesday.  I sponged it with the Frost White Shimmer Paint.   Next I stamped happy Halloween from the Teeny Tiny Wishes and punched it out with the Word Window Punch.  And, added it to the Modern Label Punch.

Since I put shimmer paint on the belly band I couldn't resist sponging the bat too 🙂

Sorry my picture isn't that great! Check back after lunch….. I'm going to work on replacing it!

11:21 update:  Here's another picture of the Ghost Paper clip 🙂

Batty for you Candy Wrapper

Batty for you candy wrapper

I love the brand new Candy Wrapper die in the Holiday Mini Catalog!! I was trying really hard to wait until next week to show it …since it's not available until next Wednesday, September 1st.  But I couldn't wait any longer….it's so cute and I can whip out a bunch of them real fast!!

I used the Batty for you stamp set and I stamped it twice.  I punched out the spider with the 1" Circle Punch and then popped it up with a Stampin' Dimensional.  I layered it onto the 1 3/8 Old Olive Circle and then a Black Scallop Circle.  I tied the ends with Celery Taffeta Ribbon with Black Lace Trim (Black Lace is also available Sept 1st).

Got Treats Box

Got Treats Box

This box is the same as yesterdays….only difference is ….it has handles :)  Thanks Vicki for sharing this idea!! I love how we all see things differently…I'm not sure I would have ever thought to add handles to this box. (Click here if you'd like to see a video on how to make the box…without handles.)

I used the Got Treats stamp set with Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip and Basic Black.  I stamped the image in Pumpkin & cut it out.  Next I used the markers to color the image and I attached the image with a Stampin' Dimensional.

I used the Multipurpose Liquid Glue to attach the googly eyes.

Greeting Card Kids Box – UStream Project

Greeting Card Kids Box

Isn't this darling?  We made it yesterday on UStream. I used the Greeting Card Kids stamp set with Shimmery White card stock and colored the image using my Aqua Painter with the ink pads.  I used the Designer Series Paper Stacks and this is the Pear Pizzazz in the In Color Pack.  Click here if you'd like to watch a video on how to make this project.

I'm going to change one thing….instead of Black Taffeta Ribbon I'm going to use the Black Lace Trim.  (As soon as I can find it in my room!! ) The Black Lace Trim will be in the Holiday Mini Catalog and you're going to love it!!

Thanks again for everyone that attended (or watched it later)!! It was a lot of fun!!

I'll be back in an hour to announce the winner for the Blog Candy…..I'll update it right here.

Congrats Debbie West….you won the blog candy!!

The next three people have won a Free Chic Stand:

  • I love, love, love your Ustream Live. It is so much fun to hear you in an unrehearsed (real) way. To see that you make mistakes too, makes me feel soooo much better.

  • I did not notice any problem with the 2,4,6,8 box, with the owl stamp. I did notice some hesitation with the belly band box. I love watching your videos and UStream — and all your 3D projects. I don't often get to watch the live broadcasts, but watching the replays allows me to stop to take a note and then go again. Thanks for your time!

  • I watched both and thought the owl box was the best. However I didn't notice any flickering, I must have been so intent on watching and listening! LOL!! Angie, you are such an inspiration to so many. As always, thank you so much!!!!

Ladies, please send me your address and I'll send you your goodies asap.  Congrats!!

Have a great day!!

Wicked Fun Square Box

Square Box

I made this box using the Wicked Fun Designer Paper with the Wicked Cool stamp set.  I used Rich Razzleberry ink with Jet Black Stazon.   I love the Bitty Bat Punch so much…… I had to add him to the corner with a Stampin' Dimensional.

This is the project I'm making Live on UStream at noon (central time).   But not to worry…if  you can't make it…..it's always available to watch later and I'm making a video on YouTube for this same box that will go live on Sept 1st.  It's using new product from the Holiday Mini Catalog and I can't demo it in a video until Sept 1st.

Greeting Card Kids

Happy Halloween

Jennifer was over the other day and we got out a bunch of stamps and started playing. This is one of the cards that she created….. It's been a long time since I've done that!

She used the Greeting Card Kids stamp set and colored the image using the Aqua Painter with re-inkers. The background image is from Baroque Motifs and Happy Halloween is in the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.

Greeting Card Kids

Greeting card kids

Good morning,

My card today is a warm up version of a card I’m working on for my 12 weeks of Halloween.  I love the Greeting Card Kids stamp set! In fact next to Aviary stamp set …it was my favorite when I went through the catalog the first time.  I was going to do a contest and see if you guys could pick my favorite but you know this summer has been crazy…..maybe we’ll do it for the Holiday Mini Catalog :)

Speaking of the Holiday Mini, you should start receiving it very soon and I can’t wait to hear what you think.  I LOVE IT!!

Back to my little card….when I got this stamp set I decided to play with my Copic Markers ….yes I have a few but I’m a quick & simple kind of girl and I will never get to the level that will inspire you :)  you know what I mean? But on the other hand I do like to experiment with other items…it keeps you in the loop so that you know a little about everything.  As you can see I know very little about them….but all I really wanted to do was color the image.  I have about 10 different versions ….some using the watercolor pencils, watercolor crayons, markers and even the re-inkers with the Aqua Painter.  (You’ll see the final version soon.)

Angie Supplies Graphic-1

  • Greeting Card Kids stamp set
  • Old Olive card stock
  • Pumpkin Pie card stock
  • Early Espresso card stock
  • 2 1/2 Circle Punch (available in the Holiday Mini)
  • Scallop Circle Die #2
