Isn't this darling? We made it yesterday on UStream. I used the Greeting Card Kids stamp set with Shimmery White card stock and colored the image using my Aqua Painter with the ink pads. I used the Designer Series Paper Stacks and this is the Pear Pizzazz in the In Color Pack. Click here if you'd like to watch a video on how to make this project.
I'm going to change one thing….instead of Black Taffeta Ribbon I'm going to use the Black Lace Trim. (As soon as I can find it in my room!! ) The Black Lace Trim will be in the Holiday Mini Catalog and you're going to love it!!
Thanks again for everyone that attended (or watched it later)!! It was a lot of fun!!
I'll be back in an hour to announce the winner for the Blog Candy…..I'll update it right here.
Congrats Debbie West….you won the blog candy!!
The next three people have won a Free Chic Stand:
I love, love, love your Ustream Live. It is so much fun to hear you in an unrehearsed (real) way. To see that you make mistakes too, makes me feel soooo much better.
I did not notice any problem with the 2,4,6,8 box, with the owl stamp. I did notice some hesitation with the belly band box. I love watching your videos and UStream — and all your 3D projects. I don't often get to watch the live broadcasts, but watching the replays allows me to stop to take a note and then go again. Thanks for your time!
I watched both and thought the owl box was the best. However I didn't notice any flickering, I must have been so intent on watching and listening! LOL!! Angie, you are such an inspiration to so many. As always, thank you so much!!!!
Ladies, please send me your address and I'll send you your goodies asap. Congrats!!
Have a great day!!
p.s. click here to see the Greeting Card Kids Box video on ustream.
It was a great time watching UStream video yesterday! I am happy to see that you create on the spot too… it takes some time but you end up with what you like. I did make a box and posted it on my blog (http://ottersln.blogspot.com/2010/08/little-bit-of-magic-greeting-card-box.html)linking your USTREAM video and your website.
Congratulations to the winners. Thanks for great fun on Saturday. Once I got the hang of the folds on the box I made 8 in a jiffy.
This project was so much fun to make, I made one with a few changes, I used an oval punch to make a handle.
Thanks Angie!
This card is so cute. It will look stunning with the black lace ribbon.
That WAS fun, Angie! Once you showed which sides to fold in, I got it! (Duh!) I am so sad to miss next Sat. as we will be in Washington, DC. Just seeing the photo of your little girl makes me want to paint again! Do you have to pay to be on ustream? Either way, you are very generous to give us so much of your time. It was cool how we were from all over the world! Your talents are far reaching!
Thank you for using the Greeting Card Kids. I can’t wait to “play” with them and see what I can create. I love this idea the best so far!
I just uploaded cards I did using this same set, and yes, it is very darling! The water colour paper makes a huge difference!
Thank you for Ustream! I have missed it but enjoy wathcing them at a later time. Could you give us a reminder a day in advance…i would love to see them live. Thank you for all your hard work that you put into your blog. I stalk it…I mean love it!
Thank you Angie for this project and for your great videlos 🙂
