Happy Moments & Well Scripted

I arrived safely in Phoenix and I'm looking forward to tomorrow!

My card today uses two brand new sets.  I guess you could say they're my favorites for now 🙂


The flowers are from the Happy Moments stamp set and it's on page 5 of the Sale-a-bration Brochure.
The beautiful "happy birthday" is from the Well Scripted stamp set and it's on page 19 of the Occasions Mini Catalog.

Vintage Vogue Stamp set

I'm in a "friends" kind of mood and thought that my card today was very fitting.


I used a brand new set from the 2010 Occasions Mini Catalog and it will be available Jan. 5th. 
 It's the Vintage Vogue stamp set and it's truly a beautiful set!!

I stamped the background images with Old Olive ink onto Certainly Celery cardstock.
The "friends" was stamped with Chocolate Chip ink on Very Vanilla Cardstock.
 I sponged the edges with Chocolate Chip Ink.

I love making simple & quick cards!!

  It truly helps to know I'm not in this boat alone and that you really do understand.
On a lighter note, Dave is almost back to normal …….. besides the fact that he can't drive for 6 weeks and needs a walker to get around.

The next card I'm sharing with you today is the same style card just using different colors and the Forest Friends Stamp set. 

I stamped the little deer with Soft Suede ink and used my Real Red Marker to add a red dot to his nose. I used the Christmas Cocoa Specialty Paper from the Holiday Mini Catalog and the Merry Christmas is part of the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.

Berry Christmas Stamp Set

Make-merry
This darling card was sent to me & I thought I was share it with you today.  I’m not sure you can see it but the red parts in the wreath are little punches made with the Crop a Dile.  She used the Berry Christmas stamp set with Real Red & Certainly Celery.

The Very Vanilla cardstock was embossed with the Petals a Plenty Impressions Folder.

I’ll retake a picture when the sun comes out….it was a cloudy day here in Kansas!

Cold & Cuddly stamp set

Good afternoon!

Do you ever put something away to save it for another day and later you can't remember where you put it?   That's me :(  I was given a darling Cookie Monster card at Convention and I put it away to save it for today and now I can't find it.    Today is Sesame Streets 40th Birthday and it would have been the perfect project to show you….oh well ……moving on.

Instead of the Cookie Monster  card I'll show you a card made with the bear from the Cold & Cuddly stamp set.  Doesn't he look like the Coke Cola bear? If I had time I would stamp him in white and maybe emboss him & make a Christmas card.

Christmas Greetings Stamp Set

Good morning,

My card today is a warm up card I made when I was creating a project for my 12 weeks of Christmas.  Quick heads up….my 2nd newsletter will go out later today.   You can expect one a week until Christmas and I'll send them on either Wed or Thursday.

For this card I used some items from the Holiday Mini Catalog.  The beautiful snowflake is from the Serene Snowflake stamp set.  The Christmas Greetings is in the Grateful Greetings stamp set and the cute little bird is from the Merry Details Sizzlit.   (I had him in Soft Suede because I love the monochromatic look ……but I changed it to Ruby Red to make him pop 🙂

The two cards I'm sharing with you today are swaps I received at a Stampin' Up! event.  They're both super cute and you just have to see them!!

The first card is from Lisa and she came up with a brilliant idea……  turning the owl from the Animal Stories stamp set into a cat.  What a clever idea!!!  The pumpkins are from the More the Merrier stamp set (it's a Level Three hostess set).  Trick or Treat is from the Holiday Best stamp set and the fence is the Frightful Fence Jumbo Wheel.

Halloween Cards

She used the Pumpkin Patch stamp set with the Cast a Spell Designer Paper.  The square scallop was made with the Big Shot & the Square Scallop Die.   The Scallop Circle is from the Scallops Circles #2 die & the ribbon can be found in the Orchard Ribbon Originals.

Sweet Centers

Good morning!

I love the card I'm sharing with you today!!  It was made with the Sweet Centers stamp set & the Chit Chat Rub-ons. 

Sweet Centers Card

This card was given to me last week and I have a little story for you that will make you laugh.  During Stamp club Monday evening someone ask me how the flower was made.  I was totally clueless……. I searched the dies, the stamp sets & couldn't find it.  Do you know what it is?  I do now…..those flower petals are in the Sweet Centers stamp set.  It's that one piece that I didn't know what it was….I scare myself sometimes.
