Isn't this card darling?   I received this in the mail from my friend Roxy….thanks girlfriend!!  It couldn't have arrived at a better time. As you know I was trying to plan my projects for my blog while I was on Spring Break and this card makes a great addition!

She used the Good Neighbors Stamp set with the Welcome Neighbor Designer Paper.  Both items are in the Sale-a-bration brochure.

Two Step Bird

My card today was made by one of my Stampin' Up! friends.  When I was at Leadership Barbara gave me this card and I absolutely love it!!  Thanks Barbara 🙂

It's called a one layer card & she punched the bird out of a Window Sheet with the Two Step Bird Punch then used it as a template…….  placed it over the card stock and used the sponge daubers to color it in.  Just darling!!

Happy Moments birthday card

I love making these skinny cards!!  You have two choices…. 3 x 6 or 3 x 5 1/2.  The larger size will fit in the Small open ended envelope or the smaller one will fit in a regular medium envelope.

I used the Sprinkles Background to stamp the little butterflies on the base of the card with Certainly Celery Ink.  The flower image is from the Happy Moments stamp set that you can get free this month during Sale-a-bration.  (You can click on the Sale-a-bration button on the left side of my blog to view the catalog.)

Beary Happy Birthday

Wow, where did my day go?   Here's my card for today 🙂

Beary

This is my warm up card for the Beary Best Friends Stamp set.  Remember when I showed you my card that had the stitching?  This was the card I made first.  I always start out simple and then see how I can add to it (I messed up coloring her face).

I used the Scallop Circle die to make the pink circle.  The Confetti White Circle is 2 1/2" and was punched it out with the Circles #2 die.  The "happy birthday" is from the Messages for Mom stamp set.

Stitched Happy Moments

My dads birthday is today and this is the card I made for him…..I haven't sent it yet because I'm going to wait and give it to him when we're home for Spring Break. (Happy Birthday Daddy!!)

I made this card with the Happy Moments stamp set and the Well Scripted.  You can find them in the Occasions Mini Catalog & the Sale-a-bration Catalog.

Remember when I said that once you sew on a card you can't make just one?  I think I'm done for a while…but we'll see.

I stamped the image on Shimmery White card stock and colored it with my Aqua Painter.

p.s. Sorry I didn't post this weekend! It was pretty much a family filled weekend.  I took Brooke to the mall yesterday & as I waited outside the dressing room I kept saying to myself in a few years she'll be off at college and I'll be wishing she was asking me to take her shopping!!

Build a Roo

My card today is another one of my attempts to sew on a card. After Julie shared her cards with me I decided I had to give it a try.  I have a few more to show you because you can't stop with just one 🙂

Kangaroo happy

I used the Build a Roo stamp set on Shimmery White card stock & colored the Kangaroo with an Aqua Painter.  The "happiness always" is from the Sale-a-bration set Whimsical Words.

This card was a real stretch for me….I decided to step out of my box and use a color that's not my favorite and I'm so happy I did!  (The old days this card would have some green on it.)  

I used the Sweet Pea Designer Paper and the kangaroo is covering up the beautiful butterflies that's on that paper.

Picnic Parade stamp set

My card today is super simple but it looks really cute in person!!  I know I've said it to many times but I really love cards that have a white base 🙂

Picnic Parade

I used the Picnic Parade stamp set and it's the Free Stamp set I'm giving away on Feb. 28th.  I took all three images and placed them on one clear block. I stamped it on Whisper White card stock and then colored the images with an Aqua Painter (I should have used the Blender pen on the mailbox).

My card measures 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 and the white layer that's popped up with the Stampin' Dimensionals is 2 1/4 x 2 1/4.  You should try to make one and you'll see how cute they are in person.   I like it so much I'm going to show you another one tomorrow…the only difference is I used a different stamp set with different colors.
