Isn't this card so beautiful?   Jennifer made this for our team swap and I love it!! 

She used the Medallion stamp with Old Olive ink on Certainly Celery card stock.  The little blue bird is from the Season of Friendship stamp set and can you believe this is the card that finally made me order that stamp set?   There's so many details to mention.  She used the Boho Blossoms punch for the flower under the bird.  And the Slot Punch to make a notch in the side for the ribbon.  Be sure to check out the supply list below 🙂

My project today and something I whipped out real fast this morning.  I just got my Awash with Flowers stamp set yesterday and the minute it arrived I was walking out the door to Brooke's swim meet.  In other words….I've not had a chance to play with it much so this is my warm up card.

With that being said I think I really like it.  If you think back ………you haven't seen me make many projects with 2 step stamping.  I'll admit my problem was I couldn't line them up to save my life.  But now that we have Clear Mount stamps ……problem solved.  I used Melon Mambo with Old Olive and stamped off for the 2 step stamping (stamped off twice for the leafs).

Here's a picture of the inside.  I used the Trendy Trees stamp set (this set is on sale) for the greeting and punched it out with the Word Window punch and then layered it with the Modern Label Punch.

Congrats to Melissa Perry!!! You won the Savanna bag.   I have to say I was quiet shocked when her name came out, she was just here on Sunday for our quilting day and she wasn't feeling well.  Melissa I hope you feel better and you're sure lucky you won 🙂

Sweet Pea Card

My card today was sent to me from one of my downline girls.  Thanks Kristi!! I love it and I especially love the colors…pink, green & chocolate 🙂

She used the Sweet Pea Designer Paper with the Sweet Pea Stitched Felt and she embossed the pink layer with the Polka Dot Impressions Folder.

The next item I'm sharing with you today is a little tease.  Sorry but I need to wait to show you the whole card after I talk to Jennifer….but since this set is retiring tonight with the end of Sale a bration …. I need to show you part of it because you may kick yourself tomorrow if you don't order the Vintage Labels stamp set (just kidding).

Four Square cards

Good morning,

For the past few months I've written thank you & congrats on post it notes. Ironic isn't it?  I sell supplies to make cards and yet I use a post it note.  Why? Because I'm always in a hurry.  So, to fix this problem I decided to make myself a container of supplies to make these little cards.  I'm going to cart it around with me until I get at least 100 of them!!

I'll make a few whenever I find myself with a few minutes of spare time…. like waiting for the kids to leave for school and I'm just standing there watching them eat.  And it will allow me to use some of my designer paper that's been neglected ……..  I know some of you can relate!!

I used the Welcome Neighbor Designer Series Paper from the Sale-a-bration Catalog and you've got just a few days left to get this pack free with a $50 order.  On the inside of the card I used the Four Square stamp set with the Scallop Square Punch.   I stamped the image, punched it out with the 1 1/4 Square Punch, trimmed it a tad and then layered it onto the scallop square.

Sweet Pea thank you

Good morning,

My picture today is a gift from one of my downlines. I'm hosting a team swap and she sent me this darling little card using the Sweet Pea Stitched Felt with a Blush Charm Packet.   Danielle, thank you and I love it!!!

I think most of my projects this week have been using Felt :O   I promise next week to  move on.   In fact…pretty much everything that was on my "to do list" for this week has been moved to next week (when it rains it pours).

My card today was made with the Chocolate Bunny stamp on page 43 of the Occasions Mini Catalog.  I embossed the bunny with Close to Cocoa Craft ink with the Clear Embossing Powder.

The "Happy Easter" is from the Well Scripted stamp set on page 19 of the Occasions Mini and I stamped it using Timber Brown Stazon (retired).

sick day :(

Good morning!  I don't like posting this because I always have good intentions but then life just throws a curve ball.  The past two days I've been sick with a tummy ache and a headache.  I think I feel better this morning but the stress of being so behind is getting to me.  I need to announce the winners of the Chic Stands and I need to wrap up things for Stamp Club tomorrow and last but not least read all my emails.  I'm going to work as hard as I can today to get caught up.  I'll announce the winners just as soon as I can read the comments & make a decision.  Because I'm extending it …. I'll accept more suggestions and throw in a few more Chic Stands.

I'm going to share with you today a card that was sent to me for my birthday.  Thanks De!! I absolutely love it!! When I opened it,  I thought to myself…it's the perfect chocolate for me since I'm allergic to dairy. I love chocolate but sadly I can't have it.

Fox & Friends Lion

Fox & friends lion

My little lion card is my warm up card.  When I haven't stamped in several days I always start out with a very simple card.  After I finished it thought of several ways to improve it.  

I used the Fox & Friends stamp set with More Mustard.  I stamped the image twice and then cut around the lions head & put a Stampin' Dimensional on the back to pop it up.  

I ran the card stock through my big shot using the Texturz Plates #4 & the card measures 4 1/4 x 4 1/4.
