Founders Circle Swap

Founder Circle 2010 Swap card

This is my swap for Founders Circle :)   It's almost the same as my other Monogram card …. but a little different.  I wish you could see it in person…it's soooo pretty!!

I used the Brushed Gold card stock with Very Vanilla and the combination is just beautiful!  I lightly sponged on some Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint …. sorry that's hard to see in the picture :(

I used the Crumb Cake craft ink with the Clear Embossing Powder for my initial.

Vintage Wallpaper Monogram cards

Monogram vintage wallpaper

Yesterday I got a head start on making my Monogram cards for the Holiday season.  I usually do white cards but this year I decided to step out of my comfort zone and try something different.  I'm sure glad I did!  I love this card!!

My card measures 4 1/4 x 4 /14 and I used the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder to emboss it and then used the Frosted White Shimmer Paint to make it sparkle.  I stamped my initial from the Broadsheet Alphabet with Baja Breeze Craft ink and embossed it with Clear Embossing Powder.

Click here if you'd like to watch a video on how to make the Vintage Wallpaper Monogram Cards.

p.s. Thanks again for everyone that helped me with my test yesterday on UStream!!  I'm still confused….some saw the images as ovals and some saw circles…if you want to check it out and let me know what you see that would be great. (does the circle look like an oval to you?)  Click here to go to my Stamp with Chic n Scratch channel.

Happy Halloween

Jennifer was over the other day and we got out a bunch of stamps and started playing. This is one of the cards that she created….. It's been a long time since I've done that!

She used the Greeting Card Kids stamp set and colored the image using the Aqua Painter with re-inkers. The background image is from Baroque Motifs and Happy Halloween is in the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.

Every Little Bit with Word Play

Box of Cards

The Spooky Box from my 12 weeks of Halloween can be used for anything!!  This is the same box …..but instead of putting candy inside you can add some cute little notecards. School is right around the corner and I thought it would be fun to make a quick set to give a student.

Birthday Box

The Wish Big is from the Word Play stamp set and the Every Little Bit stamp set is what I used to make the notecards (I love that set!!).   I used Old Olive card stock to make the box with the Celebrations Designer Paper.  That pack of paper is just what we’ve been looking for to make cards for the boys or men in our life!!  Check it out on page 173 of the Stampin’ Up! Idea Book & Catalog.

When I was making this box I was looking for a new way to package a pack of post it notes…as you all know that’s one of my favorite things to make!  It will hold a pack of post its …..but I decided it would only work if you’re giving them as a gift…not so much to carry in your purse all the time.  But I’ll keep working on a new design!

Greeting Card Kids

Greeting card kids

Good morning,

My card today is a warm up version of a card I’m working on for my 12 weeks of Halloween.  I love the Greeting Card Kids stamp set! In fact next to Aviary stamp set …it was my favorite when I went through the catalog the first time.  I was going to do a contest and see if you guys could pick my favorite but you know this summer has been crazy…..maybe we’ll do it for the Holiday Mini Catalog :)

Speaking of the Holiday Mini, you should start receiving it very soon and I can’t wait to hear what you think.  I LOVE IT!!

Back to my little card….when I got this stamp set I decided to play with my Copic Markers ….yes I have a few but I’m a quick & simple kind of girl and I will never get to the level that will inspire you :)  you know what I mean? But on the other hand I do like to experiment with other items…it keeps you in the loop so that you know a little about everything.  As you can see I know very little about them….but all I really wanted to do was color the image.  I have about 10 different versions ….some using the watercolor pencils, watercolor crayons, markers and even the re-inkers with the Aqua Painter.  (You’ll see the final version soon.)

Merry Crittermas stamp set

Merry Crittermas

I cute love little critters and I've been begging for the Hedgehogs to return to our catalog…but the darling critters in the Merry Crittermas stamp set checks the box for me!!  I can't wait to show you all the images :)  The Holiday Mini Catalog goes live on September 1st.

Every year at Convention they have Prize Patrol and I haven't won since Convention was in Orlando many years ago (I think 2004) and it was worth the wait!

I stamped the darling image on Whisper White card stock and punched it out with the 1 3/4 Circle Punch, added it to a Pink Pirouette 2 3/8 Scallop Circle.  I pierced the scallops with the paper piercer and added it with Stampin' Dimensionals.  The background image is from the Confetti stamp set & I stamped it with Pear Pizzazz ink.
