12 Weeks of Halloween 2016 Week 3

 12 Weeks of Halloween 2016 Week 3

12weeksofhalloween2016week3

The Mini Bakers Box is the 3rd project for the 12 Weeks of Halloween.

I made it using Basic Gray card stock that measures 7-3/4 x 4-5/8 …. along with the Halloween Night Specialty Designer Series Paper.

Because I used the Designer Series Paper to decorate the box I only used one stamp set.  It’s the Mr Funny Bones Stamp Set and If you watched my Holiday Catalog Haul video I mentioned I would be using it a lot for the greetings 🙂

To tie the box closed I used the brand new Halloween Night Bakers Twine.   I just love all our Halloween product this year and can’t wait until September 1st when the Holiday Catalog goes live!!

Coaster Calendar

I had someone suggest that it would be a good idea to staple the Calendar months together before adding the Bow Paper Clip  … that is a great idea!! I spent hours working on getting the calendar template made and by the time it came time to decorate the Coaster Calendar I was frazzled because that’s when it hit me that we no longer carried brads.  I think it turned out cute but the calendars not being secure was driving me a little crazy.  I’m so happy that Michele suggested the stapler!!  You will see another version soon!!

Calendar  – important note

  • Some email addresses are blocking the email that contains the calendar download (for example Hotmail) if you have checked your spam/trash folder and do not see it please click here and request that we resend it.

  11. Hi Angie,
I like the box. I have made one similar to this with the dps but my closure isn’t like that. I thought it was a great way to use up the scraps of the spooky house paper.
    Have a nice day.

  28. The little house box is so cute! I am getting shares of the holiday papers and there should be enough to make one of these boxes at least although I do love the gray brick on the other side. You are going to make a Halloween person out of me yet! I am going to check out your coaster calendar in a bit, that looks pretty darn cute too. Your videos are so great! Now you know why it is called Basic Gray – it is basic and goes with so much!

  34. Now I am making the week #4 box. So tiny and just so adorable. I always watch the video so I don’t cut it wrong. How do you ever come up with so many grand ideas? Bless you for that…it is not my strong point. But I do follow directions pretty well. Thanks again for you unending inspiration. I love it and Stampin’ Up!

  35. FYI: To make threading ribbon, twine, thread, whatever…there is a product in the health care section of most stores that makes it easy. Use the dental floss that come in a little plastic case and they are floss threaders. My little box says G*U*M on it. Probably the manufacturer. It makes life soooooo much easier. And I’m all for eliminating frustration. Hope you can find it and that you see how much it helps.
