12 Days of Christmas 2014 Day 1

 12daysofchristmas2014day1b

Snowman Soup is the 1st project for the 12 Days of Christmas.

To make this box I used a 12 x 6 piece of All is Calm Designer Series Paper along with two stamp set .. Merry Christmas and Holiday Home.

You can’t see it in the picture but the box closes with a belly band …. that way the box stays closed and you don’t have to rip it apart to get it open.

Here’s a picture of the inside …

The Snowman Soup poem can be printed on Whisper White card stock.  The Freeze Dried Snowballs can be printed on Labels or Whisper White Card Stock.

Here’s a video on how to make the 12 Days of Christmas 2014 Day 1

If you’re reading this blog post in your email please visit my blog to watch the video.

Special Note:  I plan on posting three 12 Days of Christmas projects this week …. more next week and wrap it up before Christmas.

  3. This box style is one of my favorites. I haven’t made this size though. And your snowman soup is adorable. I’ve followed your blog for a long time now and always enjoy your projects and your videos. I love Stampin Up products and I do have a Stampin Up demonstrator currently. Should that change, now that I understand how it works, I realize I don’t have to choose someone in my town. I’d be thrilled to win a prize—but to be honest, I’d LOVE the stamp set. I’ve wanted it for awhile now. This opportunity to win it is AWESOME.

  7. While watching your amazing video a thought popped in my head that I could use these not only for place settings at Thanksgiving dinner (we have a snowman soup tradition, too!), but I could put a family member’s name in the box and that would be the person they got for out gift exchange. Have a few details to iron out, but I can think of those while I’m making the boxes. Thanks, Angie, you’re so clever!

  58. Love, love boxes! I myself have wondered how you keep coming up with so many wonderful ideas as it makes my head swim. I wish I had a smidgen of the creativity that you have. This will be a good small present for my office buddies when we go out to eat for Christmas. Ordered tonight from the online extravaganza and followed your suggestion to get the box maker on sale. Thanks for all your hard work with the videos & PDFs. This is why I order from you instead of going to parties. I like things I can print off and keep. I also ordered the papers to make the Christmas wreath. I did attend your online workshop too last week and enjoyed it very much. Sorry to be do wordy. Happy Thanksgiving!

    • The labels are sized…… Shipping labels, address labels etc….You can find packages of different size labels at walmart, staples, office max..whatever store you have in your area. You will need to setup the label size on your computer as well and then insert a page of your labels and print. Hope this helps.
