Good evening!
What I'm about to share with you is just amazing!!!
Dave received a job offer that would allow us to stay in the Kansas City area and he accepted it. That means we are NOT moving 🙂 Instead of going through all the details I'll just say that we were very fortunate to receive more than one offer and we are so thankful to not be moving. Even though I boxed up lots of things and had the house painted. Now it's like a new house….except I need to unpack everything and re-decorate.
We had to remove all my greenery (from the first floor) to get the house painted….here's what some of it looks like on my cabinets……
and here's what it looks like in the garage 🙂
My living room looks so empty it's scary. Club girls when you get here Monday don't freak out….I'm thinking I may put up my Christmas stuff first and then add this back slowly.
Thanks for all your well wishes and all your prayers!! I'm a firm believer in the power of prayer and I know that it made all the difference! After Thanksgiving I'll jump in with two feet & get busy stamping!!
Stay tuned for pictures of my stamp room 🙂
p.s. If you've emailed me in the past two days I'm a tad behind. I've battled a headache and chest pains for a few days and I didn't know if it was paint fumes, a pulled muscle or something else. I feel much better today but I've totally neglected everything (spent several hours in bed just resting and it seems to have done the trick…I also went to a new Quilt Store…will share this weekend).
Congratulations!!! So very happy for you, and I bet your kids are ecstatic. We moved from Tennessee to Minnesota when our son was a senior in highschool. He thought it was the end of the world, but of course, it turned out very well. I am a firm believer that things happen just as they are supposed to! How nice to start out the holidays with a “brand new house”!!
So happy your family does not have to move! I am sure your children are glad to stay put. I, too, have been in my house a long time. Maybe I should pretend I need to move to get my house projects done, too! 🙂 I love to check your blog several times each week. I hope to make a purse soon with my scallop square die! Thanks for all of your wonderful ideas! Take Care.
Hooray for you and your family……boo hoo for the rest of us thinking maybe you’d be moving into OUR neighborhood!! Thank goodness for your awesome website!
Glad everything worked out in your favor and you don’t have to move. Prayer is very powerful! Thank you for continuing to share your ideas during this stressful time in your life. I bought the rag quilt purse instructions and went today to get the supplies to make one! I enjoy your videos, have made several of your projects and feel very blessed to have stumbled upon your blog!
Wow! What a roller coaster few weeks for you and your family. After living in 4 houses, 3 states in 2 years, prayer is essential; have been praying for you and your family. How awesome you don’t have to move! =D Thank-you so much for sharing your time & talent. I am an “orphan SU demo”, your site inspires and motivates me. Blessings.
Great news!!!
So happy for your family that you dont have to move away…and you have a “new house” to decorate for the holidays…life is good…God is good…I read your blog everyday and am inspired by your projects…Thanks and keep up the good work!

So happy to hear you do not have to move. Just the thought of packing everything up and then unpacking makes me tired just thinking of it. Let alone having to get a new customer base….
Congrats!!!!
I am happy for you not having to move! By the way the Top Note Pin cusion is PRECIOUS!!! I love it.
Thanks for sharing! Have fun in your NEW house!
