Today’s the day…I’m headed to Salt Lake in just a few hours…..How do I type excitement in a blog post? I think you all can imagine 🙂 I can’t wait to get there and be done with all this getting ready stuff. My hubby ask why it takes me so long to pack when he can pack in 15 minutes…..I was kinda speechless. I’m not sure why it takes me days…but it does 🙂
Here’s some good news…..I created a blog…..just for Convention news & photos……and I’m packing the laptop. If you’re asking why another blog……I like to keep this blog as my main page and keep it nice and clean. The Convention blog will contain photos of cards, displays…etc…. If I can upload photos while I’m away….I’ll load them without cropping or cleaning them up (time will be precious) you could call it quick & dirty 🙂 Hopefully sharing Convention with you sooner rather than later will make up for my absence lately.
Have a great week!!
Did you think I forgot 🙂 Click here to check out my Convention 2008 blog (there’s not anything on it right now…will start posting as soon as I get some info or photos).
p.s. For those of you that have emailed me……yes, I’m still sick…I can’t believe how bad this sinus infection has gotten…remind me to never wait a week before heading to the doctor…I’ve learned my lesson!!
Just a quick update ….no stamping again yesterday. I had to use my morning to run some errands and by the time I got home I was exhausted. The meds the doc gave me are also making me sick. Two more days until I fly out for Convention….I’m soooo excited…..I just hope I feel better soon!!! (Sorry, I’m sounding like a broken record….I had to post to let you all know I’m okay.)
The card I’m sharing today was another card I was saving to show you next week while I was away….but I’m showing you early. Thanks Melissa for your darling card…. I love how you used the Fresh Cuts Stamp set!!
Have a great Sunday!
oops….. almost forgot……..I told the girls I would post a picture of some of the bags that were made at club this week. (these bags were made during the day club)
Isn’t this card beautiful? Sally gave me this card at Club on Monday and I was saving it to show you next week…when I’m at Convention. But…I’m showing you early because I didn’t feel well enough to stamp yesterday. Good news …went to the doctor…yes… I have a sinus infection and she gave me lots of medicine….hopefully in 24 hours I’ll be back to normal. Remind me next time to not wait so long to go in 🙂 just kidding…a bunch of you have already said I told you so.
Just a quick note to let you know I finished the video on the water bottle. You can click here to head over to my Stampin’ Academy if you’d like to check it out. The one you see here, is one I’m taking for a 3-D swap for Convention. It’s the new Wow Flowers stamp set & ….the Bella Rose Designer Paper 🙂
Have a great night & I’ll see you again on Friday 🙂
p.s. I’m not going to say I’m getting caught up again this week…..I’m going to the doctor…I called today & booked my appt for tomorrow…..I must have a sinus infection….head, neck, throat, ear….I should just say from the neck up…. it hurts.
My picture for todays project is running a little late…….We got Chase & Brook to the airport and they arrived safely in Tennessee (thanks for all the well wishes). This time is was much easier…. Dave went with me and made me leave before the plane taxied off. I usually stand there and cry until I can’t see the plane any longer (I know…. I’m a cry baby). I didn’t have a chance to stamp yesterday….but I did set up my camera for the water bottle tutorial….it’s ready to go. I’ll get busy on it first thing and get it posted….after that I’ll get to the emails that I haven’t had a chance to read. Forgive me, if you’re one that’s waiting on a response. I’m having a hard time balancing my time and that’s one of my biggest goals for this year!!!
When the tutorial is ready I’ll repost and let you know. Thanks for visiting my blog today!!!
This is one of the projects that everyone made at club yesterday….isn’t it cute?
After I designed the lemonade holder I ran to Walmart to find a matching drink ….. I couldn’t see myself using yellow on this….what I found matched it perfectly!! White Tea with Blueberry flavor 🙂
Yesterday the retired accessories list came out and if you need a copy please send me an email and I’ll be happy to forward you a copy. Some items have already sold out 🙁 if there’s something you’d like to order, let me know so we can get it placed right away. Stampin’ Up! takes credit cards now and placing an order is super easy & fast!
Have a great Tuesday!!
p.s. Chase & Brook are flying to Tennessee today and they’ll be gone for 15 days….it’s going to be an emotional day!! Chase drove me to the post office last night and he ask if I was going to cry again. I told him yes…of course and I’ve already cried twice just thinking about it. Watching them get on the plane without me is the hardest…and …….then the drive home. I’m lucky I have Convention to keep me busy! Convention count down…….I leave one week from today 🙂
Today I have my local Stampers Club and this Bag in a Box is one of the projects we’re making. With one exception….they’ll all choose their sheet of designer paper from what I have in stock. The paper choices will include Jersey Shore, Cutie Pie, Spring Break, Afternoon Tea & even some past Holiday paper. I wish I had enough sheets of this design for everyone but with 2 sheets per pack….it’s almost impossible. I wish I had a hundred sheets of this one design!!
This bag uses the New Bella Rose Designer Paper, the Deer Friends stamp set and the Scallop Edge Punch, along with the new Pink Pirouette color.
Thanks for all the emails about my headache. Yesterday was the first day in over a week that I woke up with out a headache. Ear still hurts but I can live with that!! Once I get Chase & Brook on the plane to Tennessee tomorrow I will call the doctor!!
Don’t forget to check out the list of retiring accessories….they are available while supplies last. If you have any questions, feel free to email me!
Thanks for visiting my blog! Have a great day 🙂
