Valentine Treats

Good morning & Happy Valentine's Day!!

My project today is a Valentine Treat Holder & they are really quick and easy to make ….. I usually make them for Halloween.  Click here if you'd like to see the Halloween version that I made back in 2009.

Outlined Occasions Valentine TreatI used the Sweet Shop Designer Paper for each of them and it measures 2-1/2 x 3-1/2.  I stapled the candy inside the holder before adding the DSP.

You can get three out of one sheet of card stock.  Cut the card stock at 8-1/2 x 2-3/4 and then score it at 3-3/4 & 4-3/4.

I used three stamp sets for them … P.S. I love you on the Wisteria Wonder version.  Sprinkled Expressions on the Calypso Coral and Outlined Occasions for the Lucky Limeaid version.

Valentine Basket

Valentine Basket
My project today is a Valentine Basket that I made with the Sweet Shop Designer Paper and the P.S. I Love you stamp set.  

I used a piece of 6  x 6 white card stock to make the basket and 6 pieces of the Sweet Shop DSP that measures 1-7/8 x 1-7/8.

Sorry I wasn't able to post anything on Thursday and Friday!!!  I had a root canal on Wednesday and then I had to take my computer into the Apple store and have them help me move some video files (everyting is okay … I just needed to clear up some space on my main hard drive).

UStream Fans … we have a situation … UStream informed me that I need to pay $99 a month to continue … but that isn't an option.  So, I'm looking for other options but I'm not sure where to start.  I'm open to suggestions …I tried to load them on You Tube but it said the length was too long …so I deleted 20 videos.  As soon as I figure something out I'll you know.  Downline girls …. we're using Go To Meetings this month… check "events" under our team site.

Top Note Reese’s Holder

Top Note Valentines Reeses Heart
My project today is the Top Note Reese's Holder and I made it with the Sweet Shop Designer Paper from the Occasions Mini Catalog.

I used the Top Note die to make it and I used one Whisper White Top Note and two cut out of the Sweet Shop DSP … I'll try to explain … if you just folded the top note in half ..the hearts would be upside down on one side.

    Scallop Valentine Box

    Scallop Valentine Box
    We learned how to make this Scallop Valentine Box at Leadership…. and the one they shared with us had some cute little cards … so I made one to hold candy and one to hold cards.

    Scallop Valentines

    The scallop box is made out of the Scallop Square Die and you score it at 3 scallops on two sides and score it at 2 scallops on the other side.

    I used the P.S. I love you stamp set with Real Red and Early Espresso ink. And the punches I used include:  1″ Circle, 1-3/8 Circle, Small Heart and the 1-3/4 Scallop Circle.

    The little Valentine Cards measure 4-1/2 x 2-1/4, scored at 2-1/4 and on March 1st you’ll be able to order the Simply Scored Diagonal Plate (#125586 $11.95) …  it allows you to score at a diagonal to create envelopes, boxes and more!!  You’re going to love it!! 

    Here’s the box they demonstrated at Leadership …..using the Sprinkle Expressions Stamp set from the Sale-a-bration Catalog.

    My project today is the Valentine Lollipop Holder and I made it using the P.S. I Love You stamp set. 

    I used Real Red, Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry along with the Designer Series Paper Stacks.
