I {heart} Hearts stamp set

I had a different post for today but I've decided to show you two projects that made me order the I {heart} Hearts stamp set when I returned from Leadership.   (excuse the pictures …they were taken from the display board & the screen).

I love this card and when she demonstrated it on stage she showed us all sorts of techniques.  For example the Olive heart was Rock N Rolled, the yellow heart is the kissing technique and the blue heart was crumbled up & sponged (can't remember the red one …maybe it was embossed).

Product I see used on this card is.  I {heart} Hearts stamp set, Well Scripted Stamp set, Solid Stripes stamp, Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/4 Circle Punch, Paper Piercer, Mat Pack, Small Heart Punch, Button Latte, Soft Suede Cardstock & Ink.

Haitian Disaster Relief

Make a difference

From now until February 28, 2010, $2 from every I {Heart} Hearts stamp set you sell will be donated to the American Red Cross' Haiti Relief and Development Fund. The Red Cross is already well-established in Haiti, and this money will be used to provide immediate relief and long-term support through supplies, technical assistance and other support to help those in need.

Note from Angie:  Did you see that little boy that was rescued on Tuesday?  He was removed from all the debris and came up with his hands out stretched with a smile on his face.  I keep seeing that image and can only image what he was thinking….what a miracle!!   I decided at that moment that I was going to do more in my efforts to raise money.   But first let me say…."If you've already donated money or helped in any way please do not feel pressured".  I've chosen to go this route because I trust Stampin' Up! and the American Red Cross.  What I've decided to do is "If you purchase the I {Heart} hearts stamp set during this relief campaign I will also donate 20% of my profit from every stamp set to the American Red Cross.  At the end of the campaign I will post the number of stamp sets sold and the amount donated (no matter how small or how large).

Stampin’ Up! Leadership

Attending the Stampin' Up! events is such a highlight for me and I can't tell you how excited I get! 
I drive my whole family crazy for weeks …talking about leadership, convention or regionals. 

 I thought I would share my excitement with you & show a few pictures.

This first picture is of the window display of Memento Mall.
For my customers that don't know what it is … Memento Mall is where we get to purchase logo merchandise.
 For example, the darling bags in the window, additional items include…..
 flip flops, beach towel, card tree & even a beautiful watch (& much more).

 I just love how they had the bags hanging with the ribbon!!

The next two pictures are of some of the Stampin' Up! displays.


This next picture is a beautiful display of the new Brads & Buttons that are in the Occasions Mini Catalog.


My next picture is how they've displayed the Clear Blocks…isn't is just darling? 
I really love those beautiful frames too!!

Leadership & Regionals Bound

Checking in one last time before I shut down my computer.
I glanced over my emails & my caller id box and I can see I have some work to do 🙂
But …not to worry….I planned an early flight so I could arrive in Phoenix early.
Once I get there I have zero plans for the rest of the day. 
Or I should say I plan on returning emails & phone calls & placing the order for the Product Shares.

Both catalogs…. Occasions Mini Catalog & Sale-a-bration Brochure go live Tuesday, Jan. 5th.

Occasions Mini Catalog & Clear Mount Stamps

I probably say this every time but I’m going to say it again….the Occasions Mini Catalog will knock your socks off.  And if you’ve placed a Stampin’ Up! order with me,  you can expect to receive your catalog right before it’s released.

Would you like some details?   I can hardly contain my excitement!!  Stampin’ Up! will have the option of  Clear Mount Stamps.  I’ve been a fan of clear blocks for a long time and have even altered some of my stamps to go on clear blocks (it’s not hard to do).   This past summer I even took one  to Convention and we used it at the Shoebox Swap (from the Punch Pals stamp set).  I told them it’s a Stampin’ Up! stamp just on a clear block. 

If you’re wood stamp fan ….not a problem, you’ll still have that option.  But I’m going to challenge you to give it a try.  Especially because I know when Stampin’ Up! releases something it will be of quality.  I’ve purchased a lot of contraband over the years …I’m a paper crafter by heart and that means I shop around & keep my eyes on the latest trends.  And ….. I’ve bought a lot of clear stamps that no longer work ….. there is a difference….this is important.  They are not clear stamps, they are clear mounted.  I believe this is the key to the product lasting & a clear image (that means no fuzzy image).  I’m not a expert but…….through trial & error you can learn a lot. 

As soon as I can get my hands on the Clear Mount Stamps & Blocks I’ll share it with you.
