2010/2011 Stampin’ Up! Idea Book & Catalog

It's that time again……the brand new 2010/2011 Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog went on sale today….. for demonstrators.  (I saw the cover and it's beautiful!!!).

Do you want one of the brand new catalogs?   If so, please join my waiting list and the minute I get them I'll ship them out Priority Mail.  Please read all the details before you reply!!

This year I'm charging $5 for them and we're not allowed to pre-sell them just yet.  But I need a count so I can order more if I need to.  Customers that order from me frequently will get theirs free.  If you have questions about that I have my sales reports and can tell you if you qualify for a free one.  Some of you already know who you are but I need you to send me an email so I can do this on auto pilot (that makes sense doesn't it?).

Retiring Colors

Just a quick note ….if you are interested in ordering product in the retiring colors.   Please place your order as soon as possible.   There are some colors that are going fast.  If you're ordering card stock,  please note that if the regular card stock isn't available you will receive the textured card stock (no extra charge). 

Re-inkers & ink pads will available in May…but may go into backorder status.  In June they are available while supplies last.   My advice is if at all possible don't delay….. if it's something you can't live without (you know what I mean…right?).

Caribbean Cruise

Good morning!

We're home from the cruise and I'm struggling with what to share first!  It was an amazing trip!!  Our cabin was over the top…the food was yummy….. I loved not having to cook for a whole week….  I loved all the chats with the other demonstrators!!  The towel animals were a hoot, the bed gifts were exciting and the daily naps were great 🙂

That's a whole week condensed into a paragraph :)

This should make you laugh…we're probably the only family that came home as white as when we left.  We joked on the plane that people weren't going to believe we spent a week in the Caribbean.  We used spf 30 the whole week and boy did that stuff work. I spent a lot of time resting in my cabin …. I read four books & started a fifth. 

Instead of posting all my pictures in my posts I'm going to create a "Cruise 2010" photo album this week and will add them there.

Stampin’ Up! Retiring Colors

I'm thrilled to share with you the news regarding the Stampin' Up! Color Renovation!!  Here's what I know 🙂

29 colors are retiring but not to worry…..some of our past In Colors are returning (I want to insert my excitement here but I'll hold off).

Stampin' Up! has done a wonderful job of introducing all the facts about the Color Renovation.  And…..what I want to focus on first is the retiring colors.  I'm pretty sure they'll be while supplies last.  So, if you have a favorite….you might want to order it soon.

Instead of talking about all the details of the five new colors or about which In colors are returning I want to share with you the excitement of what this means.  I've heard from so many of you about getting Pink Pirouette, Wild Wasabi, River Rock….the list goes on.  I get goose pumps just saying those three colors are back.

I read this morning that someone thought the Sweet Pea Designer Paper would be retiring and I sure hope not. I believe the colors in that pack match the new Color Collections perfectly.

To make my case I whipped out two cards really fast.  The first one I'm sharing has to be my favorite!  (I've been using Pink Pirouette all along….. I just couldn't part with it.)

Sorry this is the granddaddy of all posts….or you could say it's like an everready battery and it just going & going 🙂

The next two pictures are how I dealt with my excitement this morning.  When I was on the phone (I use a headset) ….my hands were busy reorganizing my ink pads.  I'm a visual person and I felt it would be easier to make the change now so I will know the colors by heart on July 1st.   (When I joined almost 8 years ago I thought I would have a hard time remembering all 48 colors….I'm happy to report it came naturally and I'm not sure what I was worried about).

These are the new Color Collections. The Brights, Subtles, Regals & Neutrals.   I took the Itty Bitty Shapes punch  (available May 1st)  and punched circles out of card stock.  Those colors are my visual for what family they belong in.  I used Melon Mambo for the Brights.  Celery for the Subtles.  Chocolate Chip for the Neutrals & Not Quite Navy for the Regals (there are a few holes for the new colors coming in).

p.s. a few have ask what colors will I miss the most.   To be honest I was ready for a make over!! I guess if you look at the colors I use most often maybe Close to Cocoa & Creamy Caramel.   But I've been using Soft Suede lately so I should be okay.
