Little Lambs Easter Basket

Easter Basket
This is the darling Easter Basket we made on UStream Saturday.

We used the Nursery Suite Specialty paper with the Pear Pizzazz Poly Stitched Ribbon and we added the Designer Flower Brads to the side.

I colored the lamb with the Pink Pirouette & Basic Gray Marker and added Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to his body & head.

Green Printer Friendly Graphic

I love the little lamb…and you’re going to see him again real soon!!  To stamp him/her without the words…I just used a piece of Scotch tape and covered it up…applied ink to the stamp..then removed the tape.  Much like using a post it note….except sometimes the post it note sticks to the ink pad…you know what I mean?

The Nicest Things

The Nicest things easter card
My project today is my warm up card for Easter. Don't you love that bunny?  (I love animal stamps!!!! especially when you can color them.)

I used The Nicest Things stamp set and I colored the image with Basic Gray, Peach Parfait and Cajun Craze. I used Cajun Craze because that was my way of making the pot look terra cotta. I could have worked on it a bit more but I love whipping out cards really fast. After I colored the image with my Aqua Painter …I took the Pink Pirouette Marker and colored the bunny ears.

My card measures 4-1/4 x 4-1/4 and if you'd like to see how to make a smaller envelope for this card, click here. (When you get to the video….fast forward to the end to see the envelope process.)

Thanks for stopping by…have a great day!!

I used the Sweet Pea Designer Paper with Confetti White card stock & I colored the image using a Blender Pen (I used Going Gray & the retired Pink Pirouette).

Easter Cone

Easter Cone

Yesterday I was looking for some inspiration.  I had one of those blinding headaches and I needed help figuring out what to post on my blog today.  So, I went to my shelf of goodies (will clean it up and show you a picture soon) & I pulled out a few of these I made in January of last year.  I decided that it would make a cute jelly bean holder…or you could add some chocolate eggs.

I used the Sweet Pea Designer Paper and A Good Egg stamp set.  I love that Chick and every time I use it I think of my friend Gigi ( she sent it to me 🙂

Click here if you'd like to see the sample of of the one I made in January 2009 and the video.

Bunny & Lamb

Hawaii 2009 135 Hi,

The pictures I'm sharing with  you tonight are not my creations.  Both of these items were shown at the Hawaii Incentive trip.  Aren't they cute?Hawaii 2009 134

Remember the top note bag idea I came up with in November?  Well, now you don't need the paper bags from Michaels.  The ladies that brought these bags used the Bag with Scallops & the Box #2….both are Big Shot dies in our Stampin' Up! catalog.  I can't wait to play with them and see what I come up with!

Sorry I didn't show these sooner…I tried my best and I was going to give you instructions…… but you know life happens.  I'm a wife and a mother first.  Just like today…..I was going to stamp and film a few videos.  But, Brook's 15th birthday is Monday and she wanted to go to the Book Store. Since that's one of our favorite things to do we rushed out the door.

Peace be with you & Happy Easter!!

p.s. See ya again on Monday 🙂

Supplies used:  Top Note Big Shot Die, 1" Circle Punch, 1/2" Circle punch, Heart to Heart Punch, Pink Tafetta, Black Marker, White Gel Pen, Gray Ink, Scallop Circle Die, Boho Blossoms Punch, Build a flower Sizzlits, Ovals die, Box #2 Die & Box with Scallops Die.

Eight Great Greetings

Eight Great Greetings 003 Good evening!!

My card tonight was made using the brand new Eight Great Greetings stamp set.  It's one of the pre-order sets from the Occasions Mini Catalog. I almost used the cupcake image first but with Easter right around the corner I thought I should show you the cute bunny first.  I struggle with coloring bunnies…. because I like them to be white….& then they lack in color …but not this bunny…..all those eggs are a perfect way to add some color :)

I used the Delicate Dots Designer Paper (Sale-a-bration) & I used the 1 3/4" circle punch on the bunny and the Scallop Circle is from the Pennant Big Shot die. (I use it that die so much …some days I think I might better order another one for just in case.)

I hope all that made sense…I'm exhausted! I've been gone most of the day.  Brook got her hardware taken out of her mouth….and you don't want to see the list of errands I ran….lets just say tomorrow needs to be a PJ day!!

See ya tomorrow!

Happy Easter

Easter card Hi!

I made this card really fast this morning because I need to save my other project for later.  I stamped the chick from the Good Egg stamp set with Jet Black Stazon and colored the image with a Celery Marker.  I used the 2-way glue pen & added Dazzling Diamonds Glitter on his bottom half.  The Delicate Dots designer paper and the Celery ribbon are both from the Sale-a-bration catalog.

Gotta run…still having issues with my Chic n Scratch Shack website.  If you've placed an order…all is well and orders are shipping daily.

Thanks for stopping by!!

p.s the chick is layered onto a flower from the Flower Layers #3 Big Shot Die.
