Videos – Cards

Good Afternoon,

I love all the birds in the new catalog & the Cheep Talk stamp set has been calling my name all week :) 

My card today is very simple, but I love it and I plan on making at least a dozen to keep around to send at a moments notice.

The other item I used is the Garden Greetings stamp set.  I was very happy they gave it to us at the Managers Reception…… it was already on my wish list!!  I love the font of the sentiments and I know I'll get a lot of mileage out of them.  There are four sentiments and they include:  get well soon, thank you, birthday wishes & friends.

p.s. Thanks for all the well wishes over the past few days!!  I feel better today…but incredibly weak….maybe it's from all the laying around I did yesterday. I watched 2 movies and 7 episodes of Buffy.  Don't laugh… Brook is 15 and I was so happy she joined me in bed to watch them.  She resisted at first saying they were corny but by the 2nd episode she was hooked (even if she won't admit it).  

p.s.s. I had lots of things planned for this past week and now I'm stressing about being so behind. I'll try to get caught up asap…..if I seem a little off ….just ignore me :))) (you know what I mean right?)

I'm a tad late today :) 

I should have known….I paid extra shipping to get my Stampin' Up! order in 2 days and now I'm so busy I don't have time to stamp.  But, watch out this weekend…I swear I'm locking myself in this room.  I'll let you in on a little joke….my family calls my office The Bat Cave…..isn't that funny? I'm not sure how or why Chase started calling it that but it's stuck and now I find myself calling it that too. 

I threw together today's card….it's what I'd like to call my warm up card. I used the Darling Dots stamp set with the Sweet Little Sentiments.  Both sets are a Level One Hostess set.   And… this month…. everyone that places an order with me will have a chance to win the Darling Dots stamp set. Today's card is one of the swaps I took to Leadership.  I used the Sweet Stems stamp set with the Raspberry Tart Designer Paper.  I have two versions, one with a greeting & one without….I like making cards without a greeting so that later I can add one when I need it. 

Thanks for all your well wishes yesterday!!! I think I feel better…but I'm not sure…I slept so much I feel like I'm in a fog.  My tummy has settled but part of my problem was my whole body hurt. I'll try to get caught up today but no promises.

Today's card is one that was posted on the displays boards at Leadership.  Sorry, it's blurry…but I couldn't resist showing this cute card!! I'm not sure whose card it is…but I like it 🙂

 The Under the Stars stamp set puts a smile on my face and in the new catalog there's a similar set and it's Hit the Road.  When you get your new catalog….check out page 103!!

Good morning!!

Today's picture is of a stamp set that will be available next week. It's the Just Buzzin' by stamp set and the card was made by my Leadership roommate Shelly. I was so happy to get her card….it's totally a Angie card :))) 

As a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator we were able to pre-order a few of the new sets and this was one of them…I can't wait to show some of the cards that were posted on the Leadership boards!!! (Coming next week.)

Tomorrow is Stamp Club for my Wednesday morning group and I've got to get busy (you should see my office…..not!!).

I had just a few minutes to stamp yesterday and decided to use two of my favorite stamp sets that are retiring.   "Thanks for everything" & the "Paisley Background".  I'm really sad to see them retire……so, I decided to use them together :)  Plus I'm going to be needing some thank you cards this holiday season.  I think I may try this card is several colors. If you're not a fan of Kraft and Chocolate…maybe you'll like the Celery version (see below).

  Good morning!

I  just love the Punch Pals stamp set and I haven't used it much this year.  Although I love the snowman….my favorite is the words.  If you look at the stamp set….all the words are on one stamp…but I cut mine apart and I have five different sentiments.  They are "Let it Snow",  "Merry Christmas", "Happy Holidays", "A gift for you" & "From our house to yours".

The cardstock is Kiwi Kiss and it's my favorite size, a 4 1/4" card. I used Baja Breeze and Whisper White cardstock.  I colored the snowman with a Blender pen with Basic Gray, Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss, Riding Hood Red & Pumpkin Pie.

Sorry I didn't post yesterday…do you want to hear about the 3 hours I was on the phone with Tech support….or that they never did help me but I finally figured it out myself.  I'm just happy my email is working (after 16 hours & 100 test emails….you should have seen those subject lines…you don't want to see the last 4 or 5 🙂 just kidding 🙂

Good morning!!

This weekend when I was creating the bags you saw over the past two days…I also discovered that you could cover up the word "enjoy" with a letter and make some Monogram cards 🙂

  I used the Lovely Letters Alphabet and the word "enjoy" (that’s underneath the K) is from the Holiday Collection stamp set.

I get to see my family for Thanksgiving & I’m determined to take some cards to pass out.  These cards are for Kim….and I’ll show you more….soon!

p.s. these cards are a odd size. I messed up some cardstock when I was cutting for my Stamp a Stack & I decided to make some cute little cards.  They measure 4 1/4 x 3 1/2 (opened card measures 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 and score at 4 1/4).  See ya 🙂
