Card Kit #1

Card kit 1

I'm super excited to announce that I'm starting my card kits again.  And …..when you pay the instructions are available as an electronic download immediately.  That way you'll have your supply list early so you can make sure you have all the supplies you need to complete the projects.

In the past I've had a hard time naming my kits…so I decided to make it simple and just start numbering them.  Here's the details for Card Kit #1.

  • Each kit will include all the supplies needed to make two cards each.  For a total of 6 cards.
  • Stamped images are not included.
  • Envelopes are included.
  • Instructions are sent electronically in a pdf file.
  • Cost is $14.95 plus shipping (please make sure you pay the $4.95 shipping fee). If you order more than one kit, you only need to pay shipping once. (I know a few of you order them together and that's okay with me.)
  • Kits are shipped Priority Mail and will start shipping as early as Monday, April 12th.
  • Kits are while supplies last (Taken with Teal is a retiring color).
  • Only three stamp sets were used to create these cards…Trendy Trees (on sale this month), Medallion & Teeny Tiny Wishes.

Click on button below to order Kit.

Stamp a Stack card

Roxys card

My next Stamp a Stack card is one of my favorites & it's not my creation 🙂
One of the benefits of being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator is we get to swap cards with each other ……..either at team meetings, convention, leadership or regional meetings.

I was lucky enough to receive this super cute card from Corinne &  I loved it so much I sent her an email and ask her if I could use it for my Stamp a Stack.  She's such a sweetheart & she said yes (thanks Roxy!!).

The two stamp sets are Fox & Friends & Well Scripted, both are found in the Occasions Mini Catalog.   She also used the Sweet Pea Designer Paper & the Perfect Polka Dots Impressions Folder.

Thanks for joining me!!

Sweetheart Stamp Set

Sweetheart

My card today is a little rough around the edges…don't look too closely. Do you ever have days that no matter what you do…. you can't get it right?  I decided to take my own advice and move on 🙂

I used the Sweetheart stamp set with the Heart Treat Cups & the colors I used were Old Olive & Melon Mambo.
I stamped the greeting & then punched it out with the Full Heart Punch, then I layered it on a heart I punched with the Movers & Shapers Punch Windows.  This time I used the adhesive on the back of the Heart Treat Cup 🙂

The edge of the Old Olive cardstock was made with the New Pinking Hearts Border Punch that can be found in the Occasions Mini Catalog.

Supply List:

  • Sweet Heart Stamp set #120415 Wood #120780 Clear
  • Heart Treat Cups #120435
  • Full Heart Punch #113693
  • Movers & Shapers Punch Windows #115953
  • Pinking Heart Border Punch #117649
  • Old Olive Ink & Cardstock #102277 & #100702
  • Melon Mambo Ink & Cardstock #115656 & #115320
  • Whisper White Cardstock #100730
  • Stampin' Dimensionals #104430

I've had a few questions asked about Vintage Labels card kit so here's the scoop…….The cards are 4 1/4 x 4 1/4.  I use medium white envelopes for that size (don't you agree..once they take out the card….they won't notice the envelope was a tad big?). The instructions are sent electronically through email.  Here's a picture of the packaging.

Shoebox Swap card

Good afternoon,

Today I'm sharing another swap card that I took to Convention.  It's also one of the  cards in my August Card Kit.  Click here if you'd like to register for my August Card Class or order the kit.

Convention Shoebox Swap

I used The More the Merrier Stamp set (Level three hostess set on page 17) and the greeting is from the Punch Pals stamp set.  I colored the snowmen with the Blender Pens & re-inkers and applied Dazzling Diamonds Glitter with a 2 Way Glue.  (I'll film a video and load is asap).  If you'd like to watch my video on how to make this card, click here.

Now I'll post some more Convention Photos….the first one is of Sam & I ……..she's my SAM and I just love her!!

The next photo is #1 Senior Associate Promotionsmy name on the big screen for being in 1st Place for Senior Associate Promotions.

The following picture is the Top Ten Demonstrators.  (Sorry my picture doesn't include the top demo, once we were all in place the cameras were in front and blocking the view.)  If anyone has any photos of me and want to send them my way, please feel free to do so. (I'm not the easiest person to photograph!)

Top Ten Demonstrator of the Year

The next picture is important to me!! My goal for 2009 was to earn Founders Circle and I did it!  I've had so many people ask me what advice can I offer.  Probably the biggest thing is to set goals.  I believe it gives you direction and keeps you focused on what you want…..not what everyone else wants……does that make sense?

In 2007 my goals were to have regular attendance at my events and to get more comments on my blog.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Leftover kits available

A few months back I mentioned that I was going to start selling some of my extra stuff (extra kits and product).   I'll warn you…… it will be random.  As I come across these things I will post them and it will be while supplies last.  I'm determined to get re-organized and stop holding on to everything (I can always find a reason to keep them in my possession).

The first two items are more recent & much like Scrapbooking I decided to start current and then work my way back (plus I need to dig through all my boxes).

I have 6 June Card Class kits available. June Card Class 2009

Each kit will include all the supplies you need to complete six cards.  Two each of three designs & the envelopes are included.  You'll also receive a PDF file with typed instructions. The cost is $15 and it will ship 1st class (if you want to pay extra for priority shipping send me an email and I'll send you an invoice for the shipping).

1pm update:  June Card Kits & the Tea Party Top Note bag are sold out.  Thanks a bunch!!  (I have lots of other kits and as soon as I can get it organized I'll post them.)

The next item I have it the Tea Party Top Note bag kit.  I have 10 kits available and each kit is $4.95 and will include all the supplies you need and a pdf file with typed instructions.  These kits will also ship 1st class mail and  when I'm sold out I'll remove the "add to cart" button.

Have a great day!

p.s. As always stamped images are not included in my kits but I'd be happy to help you chose a different stamp set that you own.

Google Reader & Washing Machine

Before I start my pity party ……I'll tell you the good news first.  I loaded a new video today and it's a video of my May Card Class and it's posted on my Stampin' Academy.  Click hereif you'd like to watch it.  Or click hereif you'd like to purchase the kit or read the details for my May Card Class.

I filmed a couple videos today and they are edited  & almost ready to go. I just need to load them on You Tube.  As soon as I get at least one loaded I'll post my project tomorrow (Wednesday).

Now to the not so fun stuff……Google Reader can go first.  Updates are not working :)  Can I just say I'd like to fall to the floor & cry (that would be a funny video!!)  I spent maybe three hours trying to figure out what happened.  All I can tell you is the updates stopped on April 2nd.  But, the good news is….if you add my website to your Google Reader now, it will update you from this point forward.  If you don't know what Google Reader is and you want me to explain it to you please feel free to call or email me (angie@chicstand.com).  If you use Feedburner, you don't need Google Reader….so if you're happy with Feedburner don't change anything!  If you would like to add Google Reader, there is a little button on the left side of this blog & when you click on it you'll have a choice of how you want to subscribe (click on google reader when you get there).

When it rains it pours…my washing machine is still not working…..yes, it's been over a week.  I'll stop there because you know what that means for a family of four.  Can I just say "what was I thinking loading the bathtub and washing a load by hand".

Thanks for stopping by….See ya later :)

June Card Class

June Card Class  Hi, my card today is the format we’ll use for my June Card Class or Kit.  (I’m trying to do a better job of planning ahead.)  I’ve already posted the details on my Stampin’ Up! website.

I used the Doodle This stamp set with Black Stazon ink and I stamped it on Shimmery White cardstock.  I colored the image with the Aqua Painter with Celery, Barely Banana & Lavender Lace ink.
The “happy birthday” greeting can be found in the Family Phrases stamp set.  The Designer paper is Tea Party, the ribbon is Vanilla Grosgrain.
Thanks for joining me!
p.s. I’d be happy to film a video for the Post it Notes I posted yesterday. I’ll work on that Friday or Saturday.  My video setup was taken down so I could re arrange my room last weekend and I need to put it back up…..but I’m really hoping the washer dude shows up to repair my washer…..otherwise I’m headed to the laundry mat 🙁  I’m also filming a video for my May Card Class (it will include how it’s packaged and what you’ll need).
