12 Days of Christmas 2019 Day 5

12 Days of Christmas 2019 Day 5 with Chic n Scratch, Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Angie Juda

Day 5 of the 12 Days of Christmas is Triangle Box and I made it with the Peaceful Boughs Bundle that includes the Peaceful Boughs Stamp Set and Beautiful Boughs Dies.

Box Template 17

I decorated my Triangle Box with the Toile Tidings Designer Series Paper and the little sprigs of greenery was just what I was looking for!!

This box will hold a snack sized bags of almonds or several pieces of chocolate!  For example, Lindt Lindor Milk Chocolate Truffles or Ferrero  Rocher.

I used two small magnets to close this box … but you could also use Velcro Dots.  I have the link to both of them below.

    • I made this today and really struggled with getting the top magnet in place. The glue dit wouldn’t grab onto the top paper and there was no way to press it into place since the box sides were already adhered. The video didn’t show this *just explained it)– so am wondering how to do this.

      • Hi Cindi, I’m sorry you had trouble with the magnet! If you watch my video … I explained the placement of the magnet in great detail. Try fast forwarding the video to 6:18 (six minutes and 18 seconds ….it’s a 16 minute video) and maybe try pausing it when I get to that point. I’m making a smaller version of that box tonight and I’ll make sure to slow down when adding the magnet. Thanks!

  9. Hi Angie, just made your day 5 triangle box, what a great idea and size. It will be one of my go to boxes from now on, thank you. I’ve watched your YouTube videos for some time now but never searched your site. I see you are a Kansas gal, me too. I live in Oregon and have for over 50 years but did all my growing up years in Wichita were I still have family. Look forward to future videos. Merry Christmas

  11. Oh, the possibilities for this little box. You are so creative and neat. I usually have stuff everywhere especially a big project. Sometimes I have to stop to clean up my work area before I finish. LOL!

  12. Thanks so much for the video and instructions. I made these for my ladies card group’s Secret Santa luncheon. I’ve had a hard time with the magnets holding with glue dots. I ordered the size of magnets you suggested but I think I’m going to get the smaller ones. I finally used the glue my husband uses in his garage. I’m going to try some other brands. His was too runny and took too long to dry and adhere.

I did the label as well but my machine did not fill in the letters. Looks okay but not great. I filled in them later by hand.
