My project today is the Ears to You Easter Box.
The Bunnies from the Ears you to Single Stamp may be a little big for this box .. but by the time I figured it out … it was time to move on (laundry and dinner).
I used the Sunshine & Sprinkles Designer Series Paper from the Spring Catalog. And I colored the images with Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Old Olive and Marina Mist Markers and then stamped it onto Whisper White card stock.
I added the handles to the box using the Brights Brads.
This box is large enough to hold a variety of snack size Easter Candy (not just one piece) and since it’s a nice size box I’ll make another one and decorate it a little differently so I can film a video and show you how to make it.
Here’s the Stampin’ Up! supplies for the Ears to You Easter Box:
- Stamps: Ears to You Single #132659
- Markers: 119702 (Brights Collection) Melon Mambo, 119679 Marina Mist, 100079 Old Olive, 119677 Daffodil Delight
- Card Stock: 126922 Sunshine & Sprinkles DSP, 100730 Whisper White
- Accessories: 119740 Brights Brads, 104430 Stampin Dimensionals, 126889 Stampin Trimmer
Now for some personal stuff .. we’re expecting another snow storm … today and tomorrow. I’m keeping my fingers crossed it misses us!
Let’s talk about the Virtual Birthday Bash .. 2013 is going to be a year that I try a lot of new and different things. I started in December with my Holiday Class … following that came my Sale-a-bration Class. The next one was Definitely Sketches that I launched with two of my Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator friends .. and much like that I’m teaming up with two more demos for our Virtual Birthday Bash. I’m super excited to host an all day event .. online!
Someone ask me a few weeks back ..how do I get these ideas and how do I know how to make them happen. Honestly .. my answer is “I’m not afraid to try” and “I love learning”! I’ve never done an all day online event and of course it’s scary .. but it’s also very exciting!! If you have something you’ve been wanting to do .. just jump in with two feet .. you may be surprised at how well it turns out! (I say that in a joking way .. please do your homework first ..before you jump in!)
Thanks & have a great day!
This box is so cute. Please do a video. I spent all weekend off and on attempting to make an Easter box and well lets just say I am still playing.
I hope the snow misses you. You have had alot/enough snow. That being said I don’t want it either.
Anxiously waiting for the video:)
This is the cutest project I’ve seen and I can hardly wait for the video. I have several “little people” I like making things for.
Your project is so cute, as usual, but I love your attitude in the last paragraph and love re-thinking and learning from those like you! Thanks Angie! 🙂
Very cute box, love it. Great advice Angie, I’ve been wanting to open my Esty store for so long, just have to get creating and start posting. I really would love to give it a try and see if it can bring me a little extra income. 🙂
I love it , can’t wait for your video !!
I Love all of your 3D projects..the box with the bunnies, where do i find the template for the bunnies? Please advise..peggy
