Christmas Journal

Christmas-notepad
My project today is a Christmas Journal.

I had an idea………  instead of just having a wish list….this will be my Christmas Journal as well as my shopping list.  In other words…everything that has to do with the Holidays…will be in this book.

And if I need to add something….I'll just tape it to a blank page (you know …like cutting a page out of a magazine).

To make this journal I kept it very simple… I used my favorite sheet in the Deck the Halls Designer Paper.  I cut it to the size of the composition notebook (7 x 9-3/4).  After I attached it the notebook I sanded the edges and then sponged it with Early Espresso ink.

The title is from the Welcome Christmas stamp set and the image is really easy to cut out with scissors…after I cut it out…I sponged it with Early Espresso ink.

Have a great day!!

  1. How do you adhere such a large sheet of paper to something like this without it coming off. I’m sure it will get a lot of use.

  2. Your journal is super. And I just happen to have a composition book in my storage cupboard. Can’t wait to make my own journal, thank you for your example. What a nice gift to give too.

  3. I love the way you’ve let the DSP speak for itself – this book is gorgeous! My little Christmas book goes back to 1997 and is looking v battered dated now. But I wouldn’t be without it – it tells me who to send cards to, and reminds me of all the gifts I’ve bought in the past. But I almost wish I could finish it so I could make a lovely new one!
