Mini Baskets & Blooms Swap

Good morning!

My project today is what I made to swap with everyone at Founders Circle.  It's the Mini Baskets & Bloom box that I showed you a few weeks ago….I just decorated it a little differently.

Founders Circle 2009 swap

I used the Serene Snowflakes stamp set from the Holiday Mini Catalog and I stamped the snowflake with Bashful Blue Craft Ink and then embossed it with Clear Embossing Powder.   I punched it out with the Jumbo Snowflake Punch & attached a Clear Rhinestone Brad using my Chic Stand and Paper Piercer.  I attached the snowflake to the box using a Mini Glue Dot.

I stamped the small snowflakes on the box with White Craft Ink and sponged the edges with the white ink.  The last step was attaching the Satin Ribbon.

If you decide to use the Jumbo Snowflake punch with the Serene Snowflakes stamp set, they don't line up perfectly (I like it that way!!).  The snowflake that matches the punch is the Simple Snowflake stamp on the Under $10 page

  1. I just love this box! Partially because it is so darn cute, but also because I am in love with bashful blue and white for Christmas! I’m going to try bashful blue, whisper white, basic black, and real red. It was on the cover of the Paper Crafts mag. Stunning combo! Now all I need is the Big Shot and dies and the snowflake punch! Thanks so much!

  2. Look forward to learning how to make the flowers. Guess I’ll need to upgrade to a Big Shot. I have another idea for the use of the flowers. I’ll try to remember to bring it with me or show it to you at next club meeting.
