Hi, Thanks for joining me!
I just had to make one more box! For three days I've shown you the same box and they all look so different. I like this one best (it could be because it's shorter and the handle is gone). It holds 6 cards and 6 envelopes and you can see the cards at the bottom of this post.
I'm filming a video…first thing Friday morning. I heard all your requests that this would make a great addition to your Mother's day gifts (I totally agree) and I'll post a quick note here when it's ready. 10:30pm update…the video is still loading on You Tube. I'm not sure why it's taking hours to upload. 11:20pm update…the video is ready. Click here to watch it 🙂
The box was made with the Parisian Breeze Designer Paper with the Lovely Labels stamp set. The large scallop was punched with the Pennant Big Shot Die. The smaller Scallop is Kraft and I punched it with the Scallop Circle punch. The "thank you" was punched with the 1 1/4 Circle Punch after I stamped it with Sahara Sand classic ink (Sahara Sand is not listed as a color in that paper, but I think it matches perfectly).
I pierced the scallops with the paper piercer and my Chic Stand.
Here's the cards I made to match (my style….monochromatic… quick & simple).
See ya tomorrow!
p.s. I made the box and all 6 cards using one sheet of the Parisian Breeze designer paper plus the Whisper White & Kraft cardstock.
what a sweet gift idea! love the colors and the simplicity. 🙂
I LOVE this Angie it is just my style!!!!!
this is beautiful! You mention whisper white, but it looks very vanilla in the picture. I kind of wish it was very vanilla! Beautiful none-the-less! Thanks for sharing!

Very cute box….I love that DSP! I like quick and simple projects!! :o)
Great video. I never really attempt boxes, but this one looks easy enough for me, and I love the colors.
Thanks,
Susan
These boxes are so cute. I’m making a set of monogram notes for a thank you gift, and this will be a perfect way to package them. Thanks so much for sharing.
I feel like I have to bleed a turnip to get craft money since money is so tight at home, so being able to do this project with only one piece of patterned paper and some cardstock is AWESOME!!
Great box. Thanks for the video.
Love this box idea and the cards that go in it!! Will have to give it a try; will you give the score pattern for the smaller paper? Thanks for sharing. Mary Jo
I love this box Angie! I made one this morning and that folded edge on top adds so much, plus it makes it more sturdy! TFS and Happy Mothers Day to you!!
Beautiful box and nice video. I’m going to make one for my Mom, who I will be seeing next week. She loves to send cards, so this will be PERFECT! TFS your ideas, talent and time with us. Happy Mothers Day!
