Hi, The card you see here is one of many that's included with the box you'll see at the end of this post. I've been trying to use all the designer paper that I've stashed away and I thought this paper was perfect for what I was looking for!
I used the Great Friend stamp set that's in the Occasions Mini Catalog and punched it with the 1 3/8 Circle Punch. Instead of piercing holes with the Paper Piercer & the Chic Stand, I used the Black Marker and made little dots (to tie in the black a little more).
The matching envelope was made with the same designer paper and if you'd like to see how to make an envelope to go with your 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 card, click here.
Now for the box….I'll show you the picture and then explain 🙂
After I filmed the video for the Designer Paper box I decided to make one smaller, using only one sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock. This is the end result….cute isn't it? Ever since Melissa gave me that birthday card with the Top Note quilt I've wanted to make a card, but look how cute it looks on my box. Click here if you'd like to see the written instructions on how to make the Top Note quilt.
The box is made just like the Designer Paper Box, except it's smaller. Would you like another video or just the measurements?
I will try to post again this weekend but no promises. Just in case I don't……….Have a Happy Mothers Day!!! and thanks for stopping by 🙂
p.s. the retired designer paper I used was Cutie Pie.

I LOVE your videos but know you are a super busy person so the measurements would be great as I am sure it is similar to make as the larger box. Can’t wait to see the video and make some!
wow just lovely i am very faithful to your youtube and just wish you would add more you have great work christinawarner11@gmail.com
I think the measurements would work as it is the same concept as the larger bag. I love your tutorials you really do a fantastic job!
Hi Angie! I’ve been watching your videos for while and just finally subscribed to follow your blog. Thanks for sharing your talents. I liked the designer paper box vid.
This is so cute! I love the Top Notch Quilt card. It’s a great way to use up scraps.
I would love another video….YES YES YES YES YES…….(but when you have time to do-know you must be busy out of your mind). Hope you hubby is feeling better! Hang in there. Kadie
Of course we want a video~ we love your videos. Another project that is so cute!
WOW – I LOVE the box, but after seeing the video showing how it is made using only 1 piece of DSP…well, that’s just AMAZING!!!
These boxes are so cute. They make great gifts. I really like the quilted Top Note. I definitely have to try it.

Thanks for the box video because it arrived just in time. I’m making note cards for my MIL for Mother’s Day and was going to search for a box to make. Happy Mother’s Day!
Angie, I know how I am going to spend my Saturday afternoon! I LOVE the box with the edge. I will be having my mom over for Mother’s day brunch (she’s our daughter’s only remaining “grand”). She loves cards so this will be perfect; 6 cards a book of stamps and airline tickets for her to visit my niece and nephew.
I have to tell you a funny story; two months ago I went to New Orleans (2nd time) to do Katrina relief. Our team leader wrote to our “emergency contact” people asking for them to send us letters. My mom asked my cousin, sister, and neighbor to also send me notes of encouragement; they all wrote me to me on stamped cards I MADE!
Thanks for your hard work!

I have really enjoyed how you have changed up all the little boxes. You always manage to add just that little touch to your projects like the little fold down edge on the top of the box. Very cute.
Happy Mother’s Day to you & Thanks for sharing all your works of Art!

Love the box. I think measurements for the different size would be sufficient, but I love your videos. You have such wonderful ideas and make everything look so simple.
Hello Angie!
I just love your projects. You are awesome! Keep up the great work.
Thanks

Hi Angie,
These boxes are great and just giving the measurements for the smaller one would be fine, although would the score lines be different? Anyway they are all so cute and you always do such good work. Thanks for having a great blog site. I always enjoy it and wait with anticipation for the next post.

I love these boxes! Giving the measurements for the smaller one would be great along with the score lines. Thanks so much for the great ideas! Happy Mother’s Day!
Angie, I really enjoy your projects. I am a similar crafter that takes one idea and tweaks it over and over until it gets just right. Every one of the boxes is great on its own! But each subsequent box was even better. Keep the great ideas coming! Leslie
Great card boxes! I like that they are practical and good-looking with simple construction. They also have clean lines. I can see getting alot of use from this design. TFS. While a new video would be nice, the measurements of the smaller box are all that are necessary.
Cute & easy matching envelope.
Love the boxes! thanks for sharing!! mary jo
I can’t seem to find my post for the draw?! Oh well, just would like to say I love all the things you make. You are very inspiring, I can’t wait to try these boxes at my next stampin up class. Thanks for all that you do!

This little box is just perfect! My in-laws are moving cross-country in a few weeks, and I thought a little box of notes would make a great Mother’s Day gift, so my MIL can keep in touch with everybody here (she’s not really into email). Your little box is exactly what I had in mind. Thanks!
Angie, I’d LOVE the measurements for the box, it is SO cute!! Could we also get the measurements for the card?? I would love to make some of these! 🙂
Thanks!
love it…. so cute… waoo… love the color and sure will try to make that quilt tag… I made a Layout quilt before and love it.. it’s always a eye catch..
Hi Angie! TFS your vid on this DSP box. It’s so quick and simple and best part is using just one sheet :)Thank you!
Love the boxes, note cards, love it all! Whatever makes it easier on you-another video or just the measurements. Love all your work!

Angie,
I just love your helpful videos! This one with the box was just as great as the rest! I hope to win it!

Thanks for sharing Angie!
Have been wanting to make a Top Note Quilt Card, but now I want to make the box after seeing yours. Great ideas and videos. Have to agree the measurements are very helpful for those of us trying to create something similar to yours. Thanks!
