Good morning!!
Wow, it's been a while since I've been able to say that! I've gotten in the habit of posting in the evenings and I kinda liked it since I'm a night owl. But…I'm going to try to go back to posting in the mornings.
I made this Altered Clipboard yesterday and I had to go revisit my very first Video Tutorial to find the measurements. I'm almost embarrassed for you to watch it but what can I say…I taught myself everything I know. Just kidding…..but it wasn't easy. Did I tell you that those first videos were shot in my bathroom on the vanity? Tell me…. should I re shoot the video and include the Mod Podge this time? Let me know 🙂
Click here if you'd like to watch my Altered Clipboard video tutorial (don't forget it's the first video I filmed).
I used the Parisian Breeze Designer Paper to cover the clipboard and the ribbon is the Baja Breeze Striped and the Chocolate Grosgrain.
Have a great day!!
p.s. if you've not made one of these clipboards, I challenge you to make one. I promise you can't stop with just one…they are so easy & just darling to have around your house!
the first video is great! i’ve usually seen the clipboards covered with whole sheets but i really like how you cut your paper in strips!
I do have only seen the clipboard with whole sheets of DSP. The strips looks very nice. As I always have a problem with Mod Podge, I would be interested in seeing you apply it. Thanks.
I would like to see a new video on how to make this. I felt like your very first video left me wanting more. It’s a great project!
yes shoot another video i’m still figuring it out!!!
thanks
Good Morning Angie,
I would LOVE for you to film this with the modge podge. I have made a clipboard and it is terrible! When I applied the modge podge it buckled and looked HORRIBLE! Enough of my woes! THANKS FOR THE HELP!
I enjoyed viewing your first video just as much as I enjoy your current ones. You’re a natural at it.
You do so much for us that I hate to ask, but I would love to see it with the modge podge. Everytime I try to work with MP it turns into a disaster. Any tricks? What about the clip? Does it stick to the paper after MP applied? Thanks. I liked the video and had never seen the clipboard covered with strips just whole sheets of paper.
I would also love to see a video of how you apply the Mod Podge – I always to seem to have problems applying it so it looks nice. I would also like to know where you get the smaller clipboards. I LOVE yours!!!! Thanks for sharing 🙂
Beth
I thought your first video was excellent…….and this is such a fun project. I would like to see the Mod Podge applied too! Thanks Angie!
I too would be excited to see your video showing this technique with mod podge. I am addicted to scrapbook/card videos. Please give me a fix! JK. Love you videos.
A video explaining the mod podge and how to keep the edges from buckling and lifting would be awesome. Also, how do you decorate the clip part of the clipboard? Do you always use ribbon?
