Cranberry Cookies

Cranberry Cookies Ingredients

  • 2 sticks butter – softened
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 3-1/4 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 package white chocolate chips
  • 1 package Craisins (sweetened dried cranberries)

Here’s how to make the Cranberry Cookies….

Mix softened butter with shortening, white sugar and brown sugar.

Add eggs and vanilla and mix.

In large bowl mix flour, salt and baking soda.

Slowly add dry ingredients to the mixture. Once it’s mixed well add white chocolate chips and Craisins. We use the same ounces of Craisins as the white chocolate chips but you could use less if you prefer.

Drop onto cookies sheet with a large cookie dough scoop.

Bake @ 375 for 8 to 10 minutes.

Brooke and I decided to rename the Cranberry Cookies – Magic Reindeer Cookies so that the children at her school would give them a try.
