Mid day update :)

Good afternoon, 

I didn't make it back to my computer yesterday.  I had a doctor appointment first thing….a nerve in my pinkie finger was damaged (or whatever you call it) and part of it is still numb and it hurts.  I know sounds weird how can it be numb and hurt.  Left side of it is numb & the rest hurts. Or I should say it did hurt but not any longer.  The stuff they gave me for pain works great!    And to top that off….after I left the doctors office I went to the dentist and had to get a crown.  Yes, my weekend was spent with a toothache and finger pain….just typing it makes me laugh.  Glad it's over!!

Now to the good stuff. I have a cute project to show you. I just need to get it ready.  Take pictures, edit and load it.  But I have club again in a few hours.  So, I need to work fast.

Quilted Top Note Bag

Faux Quilt Top note bag

Good morning,

My project today was made with the Top Note die & Sweet Pea Designer Paper. I attached the 1 1/4 squares to a white piece of card stock that measures 5 x 3/4 & then I ran it through the Big Shot.  Click here if you'd like to head over to my Chic' n Scratch Live! website to watch the video tutorial.

I used the Lovely Letters Alphabet & you could use an "M" and make one for Mother's Day. Or maybe even a teacher gift?

Stampin’ Up! Matchbox

Good morning……it's my daily thing…I'm in a hurry.   But I can't  hold off one more day showing you Danielle's project.  It was her team swap and it's just darling!!!!

She used the Matchbox die to make it with the Sending Love Specialty Paper (paper is retiring April 30th).  The little tags were made with the Medium Jewelry Tag & the Tiny Tags stamp set.

Good morning,

My project today was made with two 6 inch circles and a craft bag (found at local craft store, they measure 3 1/2 x 2 x 6 3/4).  You can cut your circles with the Circle Scissor Plus or your favorite circle cutter.  If you'd like to see how to make one, click here to watch my video.

er visit

I try really hard to keep my blog 95% business but I just have to share the latest….I just got home from the er.  Before I give you all the details…remember this morning I said I had a headache hangover?  My head hurt so bad yesterday I woke up today all fuzzy.  I need to remember in the future to not cook when I'm in that state.  I went to get a taco shell out of the oven for Chase and my pinkie finger touched the red hot ….whatever that thing is called :O

Tomorrow I'll share all the details and a super cute project.  My neighbors drove me to the er and I totally forgot that I was in video filming mode when I burnt my finger.  My whole basement was lit up like fort knox and my camera was still on (it wasn't recording…just left on).  Good thing I had already filmed my video!!!

Not feeling well :O

I'm not feeling well & my head is hurting ……instead of fighting it I'm going to lay down.  I'm pretty sure it's seasonal allergies but it feels much worse.

Taxes & Stuff

Good morning! 

I don't have a picture for you just yet….I've been working on my taxes and I have an appointment with our tax person at 11am.  I'll be happy to get those files back where they belong and off my desk!! 

And I'm a few days behind on emails and after I meet with our tax person & post my project I'll get right on it!!   I've never done this before but thought I might share some behind the scenes kinda stuff.  My inbox has 2,173 emails :O   I know …scary.  But not to worry some of those are subscribers to my You Tube channel and that kind of thing.  I've had some ladies in the past few months ask me what a day with Angie is like?  So, I've got a few things I'll be sharing …right around the corner 🙂

Sweet Pea Scissor Charms

Today's project was made with some of the leftover flowers from the Sweet Pea Stitched Felt.  I'm not sure why I call them leftover….I guess because I used all the larger flowers first. But I've found that I like every single piece in there!!   If you watch my video you'll see another one….I just haven't finished it 🙂

Here's how to make it…..Use a piece of Cocoa Felt and make your scallop flower with the Scallop Circles #2 die.  Next, stitch it with your sewing machine.  Punch your hole for the chain with the Crop a dile.  Set your eyelet with the Crop a dile.  Add the chain and use Crystal Effects to attach your Sweet Pea Stitched Felt Flower.  Let it dry and it's done…..quick & easy and I bet  you can't make just one!!
