Candy Bar Holder – XL Candy Bar Holder
Hershey Candy Bar Holder with Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Angie Juda
My project today is a Hershey Candy Bar Holder. This idea has been around longer than I have. In fact when I showed it to one of my girlfriends last week she reminded me of the popcorn bag holder we made using the Halloween Hedgehogs ….around 6 years ago (I need to find that sample…I know I still have it).
To get the candy bar out all you do is lift the ribbon…..I’m working on a video & hopefully it will be ready this evening.
For this one I wanted it to be quick & easy….many of us are in a hurry and and when I looked at the Nite Owl Designer Paper I knew I could make some projects really fast! If you wanted to add some color you could use markers and color the image.
Have a great day!!
Do you hate to throw things away? For example our buttons or brad containers? I am always stashing stuff like that away because I know I can find a use for it some day 🙂 Go with me here…I know some of you can relate!
So, long story short I made this little candy holder out of the leftover piece from the Mini Lunch Sack. I cut the lunch sack at 4-3/8 for the Treat Bag and the piece leftover is for this project. It holds a gift card perfectly and it will even hold a Ghirardelli chocolate or a Hershey/Kit Kat Bar.
I used Early Espresso card stock with Very Vanilla. I embossed it with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder and sponged some Soft Suede over it (my replacement for close to cocoa or creamy caramel). Next I sponged some Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint over it.
The “Joy at Christmas” is from the Perfect Punches stamp set & I stamped it twice. I punched the center out with the 1-1/4 Circle Punch & added it with a Dimensional. Did you see the little pearl?
I’ve made a video on how to make the one for my Halloween Class, click here if you’d like to watch it on my Chic n Scratch Live! website.
Here’s the version I shared on UStream.
Have a great day!!
I love making Post it Note holders and when I saw the Broadsheet Alphabet in the new Stampin’ Up! catalog …… I just had to get it!!
I stamped the background with the Vintage Vogue stamp set with Pear Pizzazz ink….but wait….I made more….using Concord Grape, Poppy Parade and Peach Parfait 🙂 Don’t you love the Stitched Poly ribbon?
I made 36 of these to take to Convention ….I wish I could have made more!!

It’s been ages since I made one of these Coaster Post it Notes and I thought the Greenhouse Gala Designer paper would match the yellow post it notes perfectly!!
I used a 4″ Heavy weight coaster and covered it with the designer paper, trimmed the edges, sanded it with a Sanding Block and added the post it notes with the binder clip. I covered the Binder Clip with at 2 x 1 1/4 piece of designer paper and added the Old Olive Satin Ribbon.
Click here if you’d like to see a really old video on how to make one…….warning….it’s one of my first videos and it’s funny to see the difference. Not only have I improved but the technology has too!! I’ll make a new video in the next few days 🙂
Here’s another one using the Island Oasis Designer Paper with the Pumpkin Pie Striped Ribbon.
Thanks for stopping by!!
I’ll be back later today to post the updated Retired Accessories list.

Good morning,
I decided to use a Card Portfolio to package my set of Monogram Notecards. I used the Taking Care of Business Stamp set with the Lovely Letters Alphabet.

Graduate Scallop Hugs with Chic n Scratch
Good morning,
Here’s another Scallop Hugs Box that I made using the Sending Love Notes. The stamp set is not one you’ve seen yet but you will soon. It’s the Go, Graduate Stamp set on page 24 of the Summer Mini Catalog. (If you like it you can order in starting May 1st.)
Here’s a picture of the inside.
I choose Red & Black because that’s the Blue Valley West High Schools colors and thought that was a great choice to start with!! I love the rolled up Ben Franklin ($100 bill). We always give cash for graduates because we know how much they want/need money and this is totally going to be how I package my nephews graduation gift….after I find out his school colors.
I’ve got a few more of the boxes to show you but I need to insert some important info over the next two days. Don’t forget I’m not going to be checking email ….. or have access to my cell phone until May 3rd. (On May 1st we may have affordable coverage on the Virgin Islands but not sure.)
Thanks!!
p.s. I tried coloring the owl with my marker but I couldn’t get it to look right….I need more time to play with it!!
Here’s the video on how to make the Scallop Hugs Box using the Sending Love Notes with the Sweet Pea Stitched Felt.
Thanks!
