Hi,

Today's pictures are birthday goodies I received from friends, way back in March.  I love all three and ladies I'm sorry I'm just now getting around to posting them! 

Gigi sent me the card on the top…the Pun Fun stamp set will always be one of my favorites and I love birds. (I really hope the new catalog has some stamp sets similiar to Pun Fun, I love coloring!)

Darlene sent the next card & she knows I was so crazy for the Crazy for Cupcake stamp set that I centered a class around it last fall.

Last but certainly not least….the darling Basket & Blooms Felt Bag is from Maria. I love it and I can't wait to make one too! I'm still shocked that we can use felt, fabric & everything under the sun with the Big Shot 🙂

p.s.  Life keeps throwing me curve balls!! I believe what doesn't kill us makes us stronger…but can I just say… I need a break?   I'll share a few details…..our washing machine broke last night and it's less than 2 years old….no warranty (after the first year) and of course my hubby is out of town (he's always out of town when we have emergencies) and I was behind on laundry. (trust me….. you don't want to know the rest of the details!)

I'm super excited about today's project!  When I received it from one of my uplines I couldn't wait to figure out how to make it.  After taking it apart I knew that you all would want to know how to make one too….so, I made a video.

To make them all you need is a Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/8 Square Punch, Texture Plates Kit #4, Scissors & Stampin' Dimensionals.  Optional items are 2-way Glue Pen, Glitter & Sponges.

Scallop Box  Good morning!!

I'm so happy to be back on my regular schedule. The first two weeks of March I was trying to tackle a months worth of work and I hit a few bumps in the road.  If I've forgotten something….please let me know!! 

Today's project is one I made before I left but I thought I should wait until the Occasions Mini Catalog was in your hands to show it…..hopefully you've received it.

My project was made with the Box with Scallops Big Shot Die and I used the Matchbox Messages stamp set for the greeting.  That set is so cute and I couldn't resist getting it because I love everything that goes with our punches!!  It's on page 6 of the Mini Catalog and it will be available starting tomorrow (item number 113800 and it's $25.95).   But…. beware, the online ordering system will be down for a short period while they change over from the Sale-a-bration Mini to the Occasions Mini.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Home at last :)

Bella Blossoms post it

Hi,

We made it home last night and it was truly a miracle!  But……I won't go into that just yet (Stay tuned this week). 

 Let's talk about this darling project first…..it was on display during the incentive trip and I was super excited to see a new post it note holder!!

I'm not sure who made it but it's right up my alley and here's a picture of the inside…..cute isn't it? Bella Blossoms post it inside I can't wait to make one myself!!

The image is from the Bella Blossoms stamp set and it's on our Dormant List. (Item number is 111596 and it's 23.95).  If you have the 2008 Fall & Winter Idea Book & Catalog it's on page 102.

p.s.  Our trip to Hawaii was amazing and there's so much to tell that I'm not sure where to start.  I also took around a thousand photos :)  In the next few days I'll be playing catch up and I'll try to get some photos loaded in the Hawaii album (on the right side). 

p.s.s. A few people have ask about the new products and new colors. I will not be sharing any details.  I'm sorry if you're expecting it, but I really do try to follow the rules & we've been told that it's only fair that Stampin' UP! introduce the new product.  When it's worded like that I totally agree with them and I'm sure you do too. Can you imagine if someone told you about my Chic Stand before I had a chance? It would break my heart!!  Speaking of Chic Stands….they've shipped and should arrive this week.  I'll be posting the details very soon 🙂

Eastern Bloom notepad

Hawaii notepad Hi, I covered this note pad to bring on my trip ….but I accidentally left it on my desk.  I'm just happy all I forgot were my almonds and my notepad!!

I used the Eastern Blooms stamp set and stamped one flower in Kiwi Kiss and the other two in Baja Breeze.  I cut them out and attached them with Stampin' Dimensionals.

p.s. Day two of Hawaii has been great!  Started out just like yesterday…watching the whales. Then we drove to Kona and ate lunch at Bubba Gumps.  We did the Forrest Gump trivia and didn't miss a single question 🙂
