Love Bots Valentines

Good morning!

I have one more day in Phoenix and I need to make this fast…heading out to the Stampin' Up! Regional meeting.

I had to post these darling projects today.  It occurred to me that after Patty's wonderful presentation these goodies just might sell out before I have a chance to show them to you.  All three pictures are Patty's displays from Leadership and I'm totally impressed!!

Love Bots
 Birdhouse

I can't wait to make that birdhouse…I will for sure be casing that idea!

The Love Bots Valentines & the Eggcellent Eggs Kit are both while supplies last and after you see all the beautiful things you can do with both ….you just might want to order them 🙂

When I get home….I'll post more pictures so you can see the full potential.

Have a great day!!

Valentine Treat Holder

My project today is a Valentine Treat Holder…… one that I make every year.
This time I used the Love Bandit stamp set and I made it in two colors trying to decide which I liked best.

You tell me which one do you think I liked best?
I made 40 of them for the Regional meeting on Saturday
(or I should say I'm in the process of making them).

I've filmed a video on how to make it with the Perfect Polka Dots Impressions Folder.
Click here  if you'd like to head over to my Chic n Scratch Live! website to watch the video.

Thanks for joining me!!

Valentine Nerds

My video today demonstrates how to cover a mini Nerds box of candy.  (I’ll add the picture here tomorrow.)

Thanks!

Love Bandit Nerds

My project today is a little box of Nerds candy.

It's that time of year to start working on your Valentines Treats & this would be perfect to give your children's classmates.
It's simple & easy to make & affordable too!

I used two new products that will be available in the 2010 Occasions Mini Catalog.
It's the Love Bandit Stamp set & the Perfect Polka Dots Impressions Folder.
(I'll show you more images of the Love Bandit stamp set later in the week.)

The bags of Valentine candy include little boxes of Nerds, Laffy Taffy & Bottle Caps
My posts over the next few days will be all the different items I made to hold those three candies.

I'm leaving for the Stampin' Up! Leadership meeting Tuesday morning (very early) and I'll have access to my email when I'm gone.
If you need anything please don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks for joining me!!

Movers & Shapers Matchbox

Owl-matchbox

My video today is how I use the Movers & Shapers.

It’s kinda hard to explain but instead of using the Curly Label die I use regular cutting pads with 3 layers of cardstock.

Movers & Shapers Matchbox

My project today uses three new stamp sets with the Matchbox.

The little owl is from the Love Bandit stamp set that will be featured in the 2010 Occasions Mini Catalog

The "thank you" is from the Happy Moments stamp set and it's featured in the 2010 Sale-a-bration Catalog.

And the frame around the owl is from the Vintage Labels stamp set ……. found in the Sale-a-bration brochure.

Here's a picture of the inside.

Both catalogs will go live on Jan. 5th, 2010.

I placed the owl and the thank you on the clear block together and stamped it in the middle of the frame.  I punched the image out with the Curly Label Punch and the Melon Mambo piece you see behind it came from the Curly Label Movers & Shapers.

I filmed a video on how to use the Movers & Shapers without using the Curly Label die and will load it on You Tube this evening (my way special of using the Magnetic dies).

Thanks for joining me!

p.s. still at the hospital with Dave….when we get home…I'll load the video on You Tube.

Love Bandit Matchbox

My project today is the Love Bandit Matchbox (quick & simple version).

I'm having a hard time deciding….do I talk about the new stamps that will be available Jan. 5th in the 2010 Occasions Mini Catalog or the 12 Days of Holiday Sales?

The Stampin' Up! Matchbox Die & the Pennant Die are both on sale until tomorrow night and you can fit all sorts of Valentine candy right inside.

I filmed a video on how to assemble the box with the lid closing instead of sliding open. And, during the video I show you all the different kinds of candy.  Click here if you'd like to head over to my Chic n Scratch Live! blog to watch the video.  (It also includes the supply list over there.)

Here's a picture of the inside with two small boxes of Nerds.

I used the brand new Love Bandit Stamp set and stamped it with Soft Suede ink with Melon Mambo cardstock.  (not sure if I've used those colors together before but I thought I would give it a try.)

Gotta run …. stamp club starts in a few hours 🙂

Thanks for joining me!!

Big on Christmas Snowman Soup

My project today looks a little familiar……last year I made a Snowman Soup that looked much like this.
The only difference is I changed the colors and used a different stamp set.

I used the Big on Christmas Stamp set and colored the letters with our Stampin’ Write Markers.
The markers include:  Bashful Blue, Celery, Basic Gray, Real Red & Pumpkin Pie.
The white card stock measures 3 7/8 x 1 7/8 and the Bashful Blue cardstock
 measures 4 1/2 x 4 1/4 & you score it at 2 1/4.

If you’d like to see last years version using the Holiday Lineup stamp set,
you can click here to watch the video tutorial.

If you’d like to print the Snowman Soup poem, click here to download it for free.
All you need to do is print it on White cardstock, trim it & add it to the back of your Snowman Soup.

Thanks & have a great day!!

p.s. Club girls….Stamp Club is tomorrow 11am or 7pm…..see ya soon!
