Amazon Favorites

We’re back to sourdough bread again, my hubby is ready for some more discard crackers!

  • Kitchen Food Scale – I LOVE this scale! It’s so much better than the smaller one I was using before—more accurate, easier to read, and just makes everything simpler.
  • Silicone Ice Cube Trays -These have been a lifesaver! I used them to freeze my sourdough starter, and I’m so glad I did because I was able to restart it this week without any issues.
  • 1/2 Liter Weck Jars – I’m using these for my everyday sourdough starter, and they’re perfect! I also use my 1 liter Weck jars to store the discard in the fridge. Super functional and they look pretty too!

Poppie Cotton Fabric Baskets

This weekend I made four fabric baskets… which was probably a little ambitious 🙈 It’s the first thing I’ve sewn on my regular sewing machine since November, and let’s just say—my physical therapist gently reminded me that I should’ve started with one or two instead of four.

I’ve never really been a “baby steps” kind of person, but I’m learning it pays to listen 💕 He did say I can sew again after therapy (just for a short time), but the crazy storm last night had other plans!

The fabric I used is Farmhouse Fancy by Poppie Cotton and I’m absolutely in love with it!
