On Stage in Houston

I’m here today to share with you my trip to On Stage in Houston. I am so glad I went!!

I had such a great time and everyone was so nice. When Bella passed I really wanted to cancel my trip. But, I did not want to disappoint my team (Chics Paper Ink) so I went. Turns out it was exactly what I needed to move past my sorrow! Since December I have cried so much and this past week broke that cycle. I’ve told several people that when the next cycle of sorrow starts… get me out of the house!! I still cry everyday, this house is so lonely without Bella but I’m keeping myself really busy. And, although I’ve gone through a lot of sorrow the past three months, I’m still very blessed!!

Here’s some pictures from our Stampin Up On Stage event and let’s start with my team. Here’s a picture of all of us. We had such an amazing time!

Next is the Brooke Tote Bags I made for my Chics Paper Ink team members. I hope they like them!!

The next picture is my walk across stage for my 20 years as a Stampin Up Demonstrator (it will be 22 years this coming October).

grrrr, I wish I had known my bra was showing 🙂 I bet you didn’t notice it if I didn’t say anything.

More pictures with friends….and, can I just say…Houston is not kind to our hair!!! I used as much product as I could and it was still frizzy!

Our next ONStage event will be next March in Raleigh, North Carolina and it too will be during my birthday week 🙂

That’s all I can share today and I will need to create another post to share some of my other pictures of display boards, etc.

  1. I’m glad you had a good time in Houston. I used to work across from the convention center many many years ago. I don’t miss the traffic. ; )

  3. Looks like a great time! I’ve also learned that getting out of the house can cheer me up in my grief. While the loss will never go away, those few distractions can be a heart saver. I remember that the morning we lost my sweet girl, we left the vet and hubs started driving home. I told him I just couldn’t go there yet. We went to breakfast, out shopping, took a drive, etc. I leaked all day, but exhausted myself so I fell asleep that night. There’s always plenty of time to cry.❤️
I think those Brooke totes are the bee’s knees!!
