My project for you today is a Valentine Card using the Hey Love Stamp Set found on page 8 of the New Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog.

  2. I wasn’t going to get that set since I have no small children, but the more I see it, the more I think I need it. Being retired, I know what you mean about being home alone all day with no one to talk to. Don’t worry about being chatty, it is always interesting.

  3. Love the card..love the tip! My husband hand delivered a couple of my Christmas cards for that very reason ?! I also understand the loneliness because I’ve been bed ridden due to my disc exploding in my back last year & having my 12th back surgery. Once I left the hospital I left with an infection that left me bed ridden for a year leading to this recent surgery. Still recovering. I only see my dog u til my husband gets home everyday also. He’s the Director of Veterans Services and works long hours…he doesn’t want to have long talks when he gets home either. Plus he has to cook and take care of me after a long day of work. Ugh!!! So I have long conversations with my sweet Sadie Belle…a 9lb shiz tzu ❤️. Sometimes, those are the best kind.
